Reposting from Exercise group - question on changing macros with exercise
Omg. I may have to start using it. I guess this is a good excuse to get off my round butt and start using the 1 million nature trails in Illinois.
That is amazing!
I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!
It is not that we have so little time but that we lose so much...the life we receive is not short but we make it so; we are not ill provided but use what we have wastefully. -- Seneca, On the Shortness of Life
H.O.- What are your current protein eating levels? If they are anywhere in the ballpark of 60-90, I'd say don't increase, since you are so early in the losing stage. I'd go so far as to say don't increase ANY, while in the losing stages.
If you find yourself weak, etc, and think it is from "working out", you might want to look at adjusting your eating TIMES, and rearrange them..
Be sure you are HYDRATING ALWAYS, and never mistake HUNGER for THIRST...so very, very common

We Can Do Hard Things
I'm struggling with my protein levels. This week I'm doing AMAW this week so hopefully that will help :)

I am training by running intervals, with the goal to run a 5k in the fall. I do that 3 days per week and walk 1-2 more days per week. I also lift weights 3 days per week and those sessions are mixed with HIIT training as well, and I'm working very hard for those.
I get about 80-95g of protein per day and stay at 700 or fewer calories.
