What's on your Menu today (Photo Friday) RNYers?
Happy Friday Ya'll
Monday is my last weigh in apt so next week I should have a better idea of the whats and whens of my surgery sooooo wish me luck :D. This weekend will hopefully be pretty quiet but you never know with my girls. They are bound to rope me into doing something that is not on my couch.
QOTD: When I was 3 I was playing under a bench at a family reunion. Apparently I ran face first into a full yellow jacket nest and I ended up getting stung over 30 times. Literally, the only reason I am alive is because I come from a big nursing family so there were several very experienced nurses treating me while we waited for the ambulance to take me to the ER. Since then I have only been stung 2 other times. Luckily neither were near my airways because I now swell up like a balloon when I get stung.
I woke up late this morning and had to rush so I don't have any menu. I was able to grab my coffee w/ protein shake and some bbq ham for breakfast but everything else is up in the air. I do have some muscle milk shakes here at work so I may try replacing lunch with a shake to ease into the full liquid diet I know is coming soon.
I'm not a big fan of taking selfies but I took a pic of the shirt I am wearing today.

Great shirt! I live in a rural part of Texas and we have large owls that hunt in our backyard. Every time I hear a hoot or see one I ask it, "Where's my letter?" LOL

Hey I live in rural-ish TX LOL. About 30 miles east of Dallas so not too rural, but far enough that it definitely isn't city living either.

It seems like Dallas is growing like an alien blob and taking over more and more of the country. I live the Hill Country near Marble Falls. It is not true rural but the edges are enough that we get wild life and beautiful views. The hills and the lakes are huge tourist draw.
We need a Texas OH meet up!!

Oh I LOVE Marble Falls. My ex-in-laws live in Lampassas so we would pass through Marble Falls every time we visited. Always with a visit to the Blue Bonnet for "larger than anyone ever needed ever" pancakes.

I don't know. If I do live in the snake part I must move immediately! LOL I am not a snake fan. I do know we have snakes here but I have never been troubled by any. We also have tarantulas, wasps, hornets, coyotes, mountain lions, and scorpions. I am not a huge fan of any of the above but thus far have not been eaten or carried away.
