YAY we made it to Friday! Its Photo Friday - today's theme is OOTD (Outfit of the Day) post what you are wearing to work today or just post your fav OOTD you are wearing!!

I have a semi busy weekend planned, today after work I am getting a pedicure, I have "runners" feet and I hate my feet they are so ugly so hopefully a splash of colour will help these sad toes. Tomorrow we are going to a garden centre to get flowers, mulch, soil etc and then spending lots of time in my garden, YAHOO I love gardening! Taking the dogs for a hike & swim and then the usual stuff, laundry, groceries etc. What are you up to?

QOTD: Ever been stung by a bee/wasp? I have once, when I was about 8 or 9 I think, was playing outside with my next door neighboor and we were making "forts" out of blankets and I grabbed a blanket and felt a pin ***** and I got stung on my the tip of left thumb. It swelled right up and the pain was horrible! I ran home screaming & crying to my Mom, the swelling was horrible, my poor thumb looked like it was going to explode. I now have a healthy respect for bees, I don't get in their way or **** them off and they are so beneficial so I plant flowers to make them happy instead of eyeing up my thumbs LOL

3.7 yrs post op RNY / 126.8 lbs / maintenance food

B: decaf coffee + 1/2 Vanila PP + miralax then 1/2 can of tuna + bell peppers + balsamic

L: 1/2 can of tuna + bell peppers + balsamic

S: babyb bel + 1/4 cup of fresh raspberries

D: 1 1/2 chicken sausages + spicy thai dipping sauce

S: skry yogurt + SF jam + bran buds + 1 babybel before bed

TOTALS: 1040 calories, 99 protein, 65 carbs (playing around with totals for a change)

V: patches are on

L: 120 oz are my usual (decaf + water with diet cranberry juice)

E: 5km run at the gym then 5km hike with the dogs after dinner

OOTD: I bought this top at Marshalls last week its very colourful and I love wearing colour now and the pants are these awesome dress slacks from Talbots I got at Christmas with JB & Grim at the Talbots store that I want to live at (am I right JB) and my fav 4" Nine West heels, so comfy I can walk in these all day (and dance to if need be LOL LOL)!

Happy National Donut Day!

Big Friday news from me--I quit my job! Too many long and involved details to type out here, but I am still hoping that I will be given the promotion that I applied for. But meanwhile I will be home, looking for another job, while I wait for the decision to get announced. I know it probably sounds like a bad decision... but as I said--to many details to type here, and I have the blessing/encouragement of the HR Director. So I have 4 more work days to get my ducks in a row and then I'll be unemployed starting on Thursday. YIKES!

QOTD: Yep and it always hurts more than I think it will! When I was in Kindergarten our teacher taught us a chant: "I am not a fruit. I am not a flower. I am not a fruit. I am not a flower. I am not a fruit. I am not a flower." HAHAHA. I still say it whenever they are swarming me.
