What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
Oh my! I love this QOTD! Thank you for the reminders!!
QOTD: When I was at my highest weight I would never... suggest that we walk instead of moving the car across a parking lot; do dishes at 9:45pm; run around the house chasing my puppy; be picked up by my Guy; shop in the Junior's section; sit on my Guy's lap; dance break instigator at my work; and general adventure taking without worry about how far I would need to walk.
It was a very busy day yesterday but a good day. I had my 19yo daughter with me all day, took her with me to work and to my primary care doctor check up. We did a little window shopping, drove a friend to the airport, met up with my 20yo daughter and had coffee. It was a lovely day.
Primary care doctor had not seen me since surgery. She was blown away. She couldn't get over how different I look now and how healthy I am compared to before. I discussed getting her to draw more labs than my RNY doctor usually draws and she was willing. They took 8 viles of blood... considering I am only willing to get the ones my insurance will cover I think that is pretty extensive. Should have results next week.
Menu: B: Weight Control Oatmeal packet with a banana; L: Tuna with hard boiled egg and diced onion on a toasted piece of Dave';s Killer Bread; D: Still didn't go to the store. I am planning on making ham steak, peas, and salad for dinner.
Accountability: Smoke free and weighed 126 this morning.
Have a great day!

LOL I can tell you that but it wouldn't be true. Here is the info. I bought 2 loaves at Costco like a week or so ago. Now I am just too stubborn to throw it out even though it isn't working in my plan so great. It is better than most bread though so I keep toasting it and frowning at my high carbs in MFP.

I recently saw a recipe akin to the Fat Head pizza crust recipe (which I've used a couple of times now and everyone at the hacienda rated it high), for BAGELS... and I own everything bagel spice...
I haven't tried it yet... I'm afraid I'll like them too much!

That does sound like a lovely day.
I went to my PCP Tuesday for pre-op clearance for my arm surgery- I usually see the NP, so the Doc hadn't seen me since she cleared me for my Bariatric surgery. She was blown away too.... She also noticed my trending lower ferritin, which is a good thing and wants to recheck- but rather than accepting the 'this is what can happen with WLS patients' she was immediately going to - you may need a colonoscopy and endoscopy...not good.
I also feel like life is way more of an adventure now that I am no longer MO.

Not good..but also I like when the doctor checks just to be sure. Science says rule things out...I like science. Hope you get all your tests back quickly. I hate waiting for results.

Dresses were tortuous to me SMO!
Now I'm owning (and wearing) a few, but I still feel this raw feeling of being half nekkid! Surely that'll change soon.

I have so many dresses now it is ridiculous...I used to only wear them in the summer when I could get away with no stockings or they were maxis and covered everything...but actually covered nothing because you just looked larger...
