i do like the quest chips. I either have 1/2 a pack with a meal as a scooper OR i will have some as a snack with salsa. OR the eggplant dip at TJ's OR the spicy black bean dip at TJ's.

you could even crush some up as a FAUX bread on meat.

also love the halo top. I can usually stop at 1 serving and not eat the entire thing- though it is difficult :(

I decided I will keep the quest chips. Even if I don't eat them post surgery- hang around the pool season is here and that means acceptable snacks are necessary.

I love the ideas of dips because that makes it more of a meal. That was part of my thinking, will I be satisfied on just chips? I love the TJ Kale artichoke dip too...

I may just be chugging Premier for awhile... we will see.

God bless you at stopping at one serving. Ice cream and frozen treat type things are what I call public foods- I only eat them in public. There is a place near me that sells the Only 8 frozen yogurt if I really want it...and we have an italian ice chain here that is only open in summer that has SF ices...my favorite is java chip. I have once again learned my lesson, I can not do anything ice cream-ish at home....

oh- IF you like seaweed, there are seaweed chips for 30 calories at the supermarket. I like those sometimes also.

SF ice sounds good- today I had 1 scoop of salted caramel gelato- it was kids size and I ate it IN PUBLIC- when done, I trashed it and promptly left. It was a great exercise in self control.

I know what you mean about being amazed that the clothes still fit. I have been wearing my summer things now for 4 years. Truly amazing!

Shhhhh... how can we already be HALF WAY through the year?! Dang!

Last night was much more peaceful for me, thank the Gods for that! I did have another great surprise when I got home. We had received a bag of these Pineapple Ancho Chili pork rinds at the 5K Wine Run we did. They were DELICIOUS... so much so that I tried to find them online. They ARE sold in many places in Texas, but I don't live there (sigh), and I wanted to order some online. Long story short, I couldn't find anything but an email, and I wrote to them asking them when they might have them ready for distribution... last night I came home to this! A box with a bag of each flavor they have! And the Pineapple Ancho Chili ones are a bigger bag!!! Along with the pork rinds, was a (presumably) hand-written note. If you live in Texas, head to your nearest HEB and pick some up. If you don't, start following this company, because these are fantastic pork rinds!

Weight this morning 142.0 12 months out. Met goal, but going for a stretch maintenance range of 135-138.

B: Gas station coffee with half and half 24 ounces and a cheese stick and some carrots (early lunch plans today)

L: Whatever the Real Estate office is bringing in for our monthly lunch and learn (I'll be protein forward!)

S: I'll grab beef jerky (.5 ounces) and some of those pork rinds for sure!

D: On the run... who knows. but Protein first for sure!

The flavors are Spicy Dill, Sea Salt and Black Pepper, Pineapple Ancho Chili, and a BBQ Kimchi!
