What's on your menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?
Morning Daisy and everyone. I am posting at 4:30 am, so am clearly still on Paris time. Ugh!
Daisy, love the puppy pictures. The baby Lab is such a cutie. You need to get your babies a puppy!
The weather here was super drizzley yesterday, so I went grocery shopping and did a bunch of food prep. I am much more likely to stick to my menu if everything is ready to go, and I don't have to think about it.
Plastics pre-op today. Hope they don't find too much French butter and Brie in my bloodstream.
QOTD: i am a showerer, but I do love a good soak in the evening. Particularly in the winter. I find it super relaxing.
2-1/2 Years Post-Op:
B: Egg Beaters, mozzarella and bacon omelette
S: Spicy Jalapeño chicken sausage
L: 4 oz prawns, roasted cauliflower and Brussels sprouts
S: Light and Fit Greek Yogurt, raspberries

Totals: Calories 837, Carbs 40, Protein 97

QOTD: showers for sure, but a couple times of year (always on a cold winter night) I get in the mood for a long soak in a hot bathtub. Unfortunately, we just have a standard tub, so it gets cold pretty fast. I wish I had one of those Japanese soaking tubs where the water comes up to your chin. Occasionally in the winter I'll throw on my swimsuit and head over to the gym to soak in their Jacuzzi just to warm up!!!
23 months out (maintenance):
B: homemade plain Greek yogurt, flaxseed, homemade blueberry/blackberry sauce
S: coffee with half & half, vanilla cantaloupe protein/Miralax shake
L: two long meetings today with not much time for lunch, so I may just have a protein bar
D: carnitas with lettuce, tomato, and plain Greek yogurt in a Flat Out wrap
probably another Greek yogurt or SF protein pudding later
exercise: yoga
I'm late logging in today but I wanted to at least get my menu listed.
Breakfast: hard boiled egg, turkey sausage patty
Snack: Ice Tea protein shake
Lunch: TJ's Balsamic chicken
Snack: turkey breast
Dinner: sashimi
Exercise: 2 walks

Good morning Daisy and everyone!
Love the puppy pics! My babies are very unsociable but they are never around other babies. Although, they do bark back and forth with the large springer spaniel and Irish wolfhound across the road. I keep telling them that the ginormous wolfhound would eat them as a snack, lol.
QOTD: Shower girl all the way. I don't have the patience to soak in a tub.
Menu:
Breakfast: egg, ham and cheese scramble
Lunch: chicken and green salad
Dinner: crab cakes...so yummy!

Nothing Tastes as Good as Healthy Feels!
I'm here early today because I took the day off to help my daughter move to her first pharmacy internship at Yale/New Haven. Very exciting for her but I'm going to miss having her home all summer. This is the first summer she's been gone in her 22 years. Sad mama!
QOTD: I shower everyday as well but when I have down time I love a hot bubble bath but I don't view it as "cleaning time" just relaxing time and I always take a shower right after. Just me being weird I guess.
Food is up in the air today but I will stay around 700 calories, have less that 30 carbs and at least 90 protein, I don't care about fat except for those pesky calories that go along with them. I'll try and post my exact food later.
