What's on your menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?
on 5/31/17 2:11 pm
It's been a really long time since I've had an "I just can't" day. But early out I sipped shakes to try to keep protein up. I think if I had that feeling now, I would just skip it.
I skipped food yesterday until about 5:30 p.m. I've done a bit better today (if you want to look at it that way) I had 3 oz of chicken in the morning and I just finished my lunch (closer to lunch time than 5:30 . . . mostly because class tonight is AT 6:30 and I figured I was asking for trouble if I waited too long). It didn't make me happy to eat, but at least it's staying down. If it happens tomorrow, I think I'll just give in and not eat. I'll drink as much as a can, but no food is not going to hurt me.
Well I wouldn't go with no food no matter how I felt...but I am OK with lower calorie days and slider foods on those days I really don't feel like eating too much - yogurt, lattes with milk.... protein hot chocolate and such...

Stacy perfect timing, I have been feeling this way too lately. On Tuesday I had a 5:30pm Step class and its hard core and I had not eaten since 11am and was not hungry at all, I had been drinking all day but not any other food since 11am. I debated do I eat something before the step class as I knew I was going to do 5km on the treadmill after the class. So I didn't eat anything and half way through class I started to feel a little light headed so I ran out to my locker as I always have babybel in my purse and I gobbled one down, ran back in class and finished the class and my run. But this happens to me often where I am not hungry, have not eaten in a while but have a class or run I am going to. Now I know I need to force myself to eat a babybel or something. Right there with ya girl!
