Good Morning Everyone,
My son enjoyed Legoland and had lots of fun. I had no problem finding lots of dense protein. Today, my son has an appointment to remove his thumb splint--5 weeks with his thumb in either a cast or splint. Friday is his 6th grade graduation and he wants to be splint free!
QOTD: I love air freshener in cars--something like a french vanilla smells wonderful.
M1: lots of chai with vanilla protein shake
M2: Turkey patty with strawberry greek yogurt
M3: Beef patty with strawberry greek yogurt
M4: ?
Fluids-yes
Vitamins-Always
Exercise-short walk
Have a great day everyone!

good morning, everyone!
I wouldn't be surprised if you were experiencing some depression, DD2 - you have been through a lot lately!!!! That would bring anyone down!! I'm glad you made the appt.
got some new Saucony walking shoes yesterday. I feel much more stable in these than I do in my Dansko clogs. I was having a lot of falling issues ****il I got my ankle brace, which has helped a lot but hasn't stopped it completely) and kept re-injuring my broken ankle. But I feel a lot more stable and grounded in these, so maybe they'll help....
QOTD: I don't react well to many scents. Some are fine, but many give me migraines or make me feel nauseated. I can't be around people wearing perfume or cologne or aftershave - and even being in an elevator after someone wearing cologne has been in it is awful. So - no scents in cars!
23 months out (maintenance):
B: homemade Greek yogurt, flaxseed, raspberries
S: coffee with half & half, protein shake
L: cottage cheese, strawberry/rhubarb/hazelnut/mint salad
D: probably carnitas with lettuce, tomatoes, and plain Greek yogurt in a Flat Out wrap
another Greek yogurt or SF protein pudding this evening if I can afford the calories...

I legit cannot walk in Danskos--it's like being in a drunk simulator for me! I am amazed that they don't get sued for people's broken ankles every day...
I just googled it, and it appears to be a common problem. Crap. I own three pairs of them! Maybe I'll just use them for teaching from now on since I'm on my feet for at least an hour - then I'll change into my walking shoes. I bet that's how I broke the damn thing in the first place - wearing Danskos!
