Yes, but I am the only one in my house who does. I figured now would be the perfect time to pull it out of the freezer since my wife can't eat solids anyway.

Hi everyone!

It feels like it's been so long since I've posted on the menu thread! In reality, I think it was Thur or Fri, but the weekend was full of fun, work, and relaxation... and went by super fast!

I ate horribly Saturday night (Cheetos and chips were involved, but I did skip the banana pudding!), and it bled a little into Sunday (Friend spent the night after an arts festival and BBQ gathering Saturday, and she made homemade biscuits and fried potatoes to go with the bacon and eggs I made... Oh, and there was also homemade bacon gravy present) There was also a bit of wine involved Saturday night... so.many.wine.tasting.booths! LOL Little tastes add up with my little pouch!... Yesterday I weighed in at 144.2! Thankfully today was 142.6 again (back to clean eating all day yesterday!).

I feel good about it, even if I did go off plan for 1.5-2 days, I got right back on yesterday - even with potato chips/sweet baked beans and burger buns present at yesterday's BBQ, I didn't even taste one of them! (Not recommended for the early-out folks, don't waste that honeymoon period!)

Edited to add this:

QOTD: I use air fresheners in my car, but they have to be a 'clean' scent... nothing food related at all! I like the mens cologne scented ones, spring scents, and things called 'Clean Sheets' and stuff like that. Even vanilla ones make me hungry!

Weight this morning 142.6, 12 months out, below goal, and going for stretch goal of 135 (maintenance goals are 135-139)

B: Decaf coffee with half and half, after 3 ounces of fajita meat

L: Meaty ricotta bake 3.5 ounces

S: cheese stick/ pork rinds/ 5 baby carrots

D: chicken legs, probably grilled and a roasted veggie of some sort, whatever we have on hand

S: Fairlife latte with SF syrup

Hey all

camping in baby camper went really well no issues like last time! Now we are at the beach for the week so happy!! the hotel we booked was a total dive and I would not stay there so now we are at a different place and it is way better!! Note to self, don't book a hotel where they don't show pics!!

17 months out/weight 123 last time I checked but I'm on vacation whoopee!

QOTD: I generally don't put air fresheners in the cars, but when DH washes them he pips in the smellies. also when he washes the cars in the machines, he puts the car on circulating air so the soap smells come in the car. I actually REALLY like that. I do like yankee candle so I might buy some now that you mention it.

Food:

B: coffee/egg white/egg/cheese/ 1/2 sausage patty and 1/2 a mini waffle with protein powder in batter. hotel breakfast.

L: unsure but i think wings? or pork bbq not sure

D: unsure

S:

exercise: losts of walking/gym/pool

Good Morning! I am glad your appointment went well and I hope the process moves pretty quickly for you. I think it's a great idea to talk to a professional as we all know the surgery wasn't done on our brains...oh how I wish!

The long weekend was nice and it helped as I phase back into my routine. The rest of the week is pretty busy with open house for Em tonight and then tomorrow night she and I are going to see New Kids on The Block, Paula Abdul and Boys II Men so I took Thursday off since I will be up way past my bedtime :)

ETA..QOTD: I prefer pina colada types.

Time since surgery: 2 years, 9 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters with roasted red pepper, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore tuna lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: SF latte, homemade Greek yogurt, granola, 2 Brazil nuts and jerky

D: 3 oz. thin steak, a small side salad, and SF jello with cool-whip

E: 6 miles on the treadmill this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1149 Protein:128 Carbs:86 Fat:34

Have a great one!

Good morning Daisy and fellow menu'ers. I'm baaaaack! I had a good long sleep last night, and am feeling pretty good this morning. I am hopeful that the jet lag will be kept to a minimum. Paris was so amazing, and the company could not have been better. So glad to have been able to share it with two such amazing and fun people. Thanks for all of the great times, Julia and Cyndy. I am still working on cleaning up the pictures, so I will share a couple today, and more tomorrow. For those of you that followed our adventures on Facebook, I offer my apologies. You must be sick of hearing about Paris by now.

The Paris magic also worked for me. I am down 4 pounds. Baguette, cheese, meats, pate, croissants, macarons, wine, champagne, and down 4 pounds. I love me some Paris magic. Unfortunately, there is no Portland magic, so it is back to basics for me. I have plastics on 6/8 (pre-op tomorrow), so I am starting CAMAW today and continuing until surgery next week. So Daisy, put me down for CAMAW, but I will only go to Thursday.

QOTD: I do not use a freshener in my car. I do love me a scented candle though, and always have them burning at home. I love to match the scents to the season. Since we are moving into the summer, I will be burning tropical, fruit and flower scents.

My larder is empty, so I need to go to the grocery store and stock up on meat, so my menu is incomplete. I do have chicken I pulled out of the freezer last night, so I will likely make a cacciatore for dinner, and prawns for lunch. We shall see.

2-1/2 years post of:

B: Egg Beaters, mozzarella and canadian bacon omelette

S: 3 oz rib eye

L: 4 oz prawns

S: Hard boiled egg, canola mayo

D: Chicken Cacciatore thigh

Totals: Calories 745, Carbs 13, Protein 87

My calories are a little low, so I am likely to make some adjustments after I go shopping. Have a great day everyone. It's nice to be home. Sorta.

the times I've been to Europe, my jet lag is usually worse going over than coming back (it's the exact opposite when I go to eastern Asia). So you may be fine!
