Hi Menu Crew! How is everyone today? My appt at my Centre with the NP went great! Its was a new NP and she was outstanding, I am super impressed! I have my Surgical Consult on Aug 11th to see about my gallbladder and next steps. I booked an appt also with Psychiatry while there for a few weeks from now, I have been feeling really "off" lately, not sure if its depression but figure best to talk to a professional.
QOTD: Car air freshener? Yes? No? Love em? Hate em? I LOVE them, I currently have a bright pink one that is bubblegum flavour scent, its awesome!! One before this was like "pina colada" scent, very coconut & vanilla and I wish I had bought 10! My go to scent is either Vanilla or Apple Cinnamon. I get them from the dollar store, super cheap and fun!

Good morning menu folks!
Daisy, glad that your appointment went well and that you have an appointment for your gallbladder.
I enjoyed my long weekend even though I didn't have any great activities. I did get in some pool time each day and I also got in some good walks in spite of rain each day.
Today is supposed to be another rainy one so I might need to hit the gym for some bicycling or something.
QOTD: I don't use a car air freshener, although I do hit the seats with some Fabrese as needed.
Breakfast: egg whites, LF Mexican cheese
Snack: Fuzzy Navel protein shake
Lunch: turkey breast
Snack: LF string cheese
Dinner: TJ's Balsamic chicken
Exercise: not sure but something to get the heart rate moving

Keep up the great work and all that exercise! You are doing great Librarian!
Good morning Daisy and everyone!
Still busy pricing stuff for my sale. You never realize how much stuff you have until you start getting rid of it, lol!
Not sure what the deal was last night but we had T-bone steak for dinner and mine came back up with foamies. That has never happened before. Steak...really!! Hoping it was just a fluke thing.
QOTD: I love the clip on air freshners from Fabreeze. My DH usually does all the car care stuff.
Menu:
Breakfast: egg, ham and cheese melt
Lunch: not sure yet since I am going to be out grocery shopping today.
Dinner: crab cakes from Price Chopper...love them!
Never been in the challenge before.

Foamies usually means you didn't chew well enough and/or ate too fast or food was too dry and the food got stuck. It is the body's way of trying to lubricate and dislodge the offending food. Can happen with any food really- except obvious sliders..

Hope you get the garage sale stuff done soon! And sorry to hear about the foamies, they suck! Hope you are feeling better! Mmmmmm crab cakes!
Morning!
Im glad you're making an appointment to speak to someone Daisy! It's a resource we have access to, and it's there for a reason!
qotd: I'm a scent free kinda woman. I grew up in a house with people with allergies, and sensitivites, which I guess is why. I find most freshners, detergents, perfumes, colognes etc to be too strong and artificial smelling.
I like scented candles, but avoid them most of time because some of my family can't handle them.
But that reminds me. when I was a tween, the best thing in the world to do to keep my younger sister away from me when I had a friend over, was to spray a bunch of of ****ty perfume (probably tribe) in my bedroom so she couldn't come in! Hahahah what a jerk.
menu:
B: protein shake
L/D: is up in the air. I'm taking my dad to Montreal today for dr apts. he is having knee replacement surgery in June.
Protein forward as usual though.
have a great one gang!

Hope all went well with your Dad Erin!
Your story cracked me up! That is so something I would have done to my sister too!
