What's on your menu today (Monday) RNYers?
on 5/29/17 3:27 am - GTA, Ontario, Canada
Hello Menu Crew! Happy Monday! Did everyone have a good weekend? Mine was good, really busy. Had a retirement party yesterday, ate the world I swear but was down a lb this morning, crazy scale! Part two of this Manager's party is today at work and I promised myself I would not go off the rails like I did yesterday with cake/cookies/crackers & cheese!!! I have an appt at my Centre today at 830am to see the NP and see if I can get a referral to a General Surgeon to address my gallbladder and its technically my "3" year check up even though I am 3.7 yrs post op. Wish me luck!
QOTD: What does your go to Umbrella look like (if you have more than one). I have one I keep in my purse, its one of those travel ones, that collapses super small & compact. Its got some random circles & swirls in brown, teal and cream, it was a gift, and I think its ugly but its super convenient and easy to carry in my purse, and with all the rain we have had lately I use it almost daily!!

Good Morning Daisy and menu crew.
It's Memorial Day here...
My weekend was very busy and happy and funny and heart-warming. My step-kids and my boys held a surprise party on Saturday, for Jim's #60 birthday. He had NO idea!! He thought we were going out to dinner with his brother and wife. He also thought we were hosting a cook-out on Sunday, but no, his son Matt took him to yesterday's Red Sox game!! I tried to be strong, but I had a small piece of cake. :(

Morning!
im super pumped for Amaw/camaw next week! I'm actually working my way to it a bit early, things have gotten a little slow in the losing department and I want to nudge things along!
qotd: my favorite umbrealla has a Burberry plaid pattern, and i bought it about 10 years ago. It's actually part of a line from the Umbrella shop in Vancouver, and is one of the last entirely made in Canada umbrellas. I was already thinking of buying it but coincidentally, the owner was there and brought that fact to my attention. They were planning to close production, and focus solely on imports, as it just wasn't possible to compete.
Menu:
B: protein shake
L: turkey and mushroom chili
D: leftover beer can chicken we made yesterday. With some kind of veg.
S: steak and avocado from a giant salad I had in a restaurant for lunch yesterday. No joke. I had it for lunch, my husband had a big portion with dinner, I had a small one, and I still won't fini**** today...
have a great day everyone!

That is definitely not the norm for me hahaha but it is a full size umbrella, so it isnt super practical. And I usually only use it a few times a year, weddings and funeral type things. I'm really more of a put up your hood and run for it kind of person.

Good morning menu folks, both holidayers and Monday morning people!
I am enjoying being up a little later this morning. It's nice to have the option to lay about for a bit even though our cats had me up fairly early anyway.
QOTD: I have a variety of umbrellas that I keep in the car. Everything from small foldables to large golf umbrellas. Depends on the needs of the day.
Breakfast1: turkey breast
Breakfast 2: leftover veggie omelet and turkey bacon
Lunch: turkey
Snack: Fuzzy Navel protein shake
Dinner: salmon
Exercise: laps at the pool, a walk before it heats up too much

Good morning. Another wet, rainy day. We went to see the house yesterday and totally fell in love with it. There are several interested parties so we are hoping we get it.
My umbrella is an old one- I can't remember how old it is. Maybe 15 years old. I bought it from Avon and it hades sunflowers around the edge and it's blue. Another go to one that I have is a black one with black and white checks around the edges. It has an automatic up and down button too. But one thing I love with all the rain we've been having is my jacket. Right after surgery I bought a bag of used clothing for $20. This jacket was in there. It's a nice shade of green and it looks like a canvas material. It has a fleece lining too. I would have gladly paid $20 just for the jacket. Anyway, it's super waterproof and has a great hood so it's been getting a lot of use.
Menu:
B: Protein shake
L: No potatoes shepherd's pie - I made a shepherd's pie for the fam and made another dish for me with just the bottom. So basically ground pork with carrots and gravy.
D: Chicken but I don't know how I'm cooking it yet.
E: Total Body Cardio Fix
On another note, my stall appears to be broken!! I was down 3.2 lbs this morning. So excited about that.

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
Good luck today. An angry gallbladder is never fun ?
QOTD. I don't really have a favourite umbrella. As long as I can press a button and watch it pop up i'm happy. I'm a kid at heart, I like buttons.
B. yogurt & 1 light laughing cow
L. 3 oz chicken & grilled veggies
S. 3 strawberries & babybell
D. Same as lunch
Good morning guys!
It's Memorial Day here - we went to a cookout yesterday and they had some sort of delicious marinated chicken and ice-cold watermelon (probably my favorite summer fruit). I'm finally able to eat normal foods again, just have to be super careful because stuff likes to get caught in the wires that make up the new appliance (MEGA ANNOYING ). We are headed out the door early this morning to drop the kiddo off at my mother-in-law's and then the hubby and I are going to hang out all day since he's off work - just the two of us. We're starting out at the Y to get our lifting done early so we can then relax the rest of the day away
. No big plans, just enjoying a day off.
QOTD: We have a giant golf-umbrella that I keep in the trunk of my car, it's white/green and I got it from my stepdad years ago. I love huge umbrellas...definitely don't like small wimpy umbrellas, even if those are easier to carry places haha
Countdown to RNY: 23 days (WHAT the WHAT?! I feel like time is suddenly flying)

B: Eggs, Sausage, Coffee w/FF 1/2 and 1/2
S: Sargento Balanced Break
L: Protein Shake
S: TBD

E: Lifting day - squats, benchpresses and rows!
Have a great day guys!!
