Beautiful day today! We're going to wash the kitchen floor in a few minutes and then wax it later this afternoon (hate hate hate this chore, even though it's really not that hard, and it only needs to be done a couple of times a year). DH wants to work out in the yard in the interim (it desperately needs it - the place looks like a jungle after all that rain!) - not sure what I will do. I need some new athletic shoes and pool shoes, so I'll probably go get those. I'm so happy to have a three-day weekend!!!

QOTD: my earliest memory is my mother being pregnant with my sister. I was not quite three years old. I remember being very disturbed when she told me there was a baby in her tummy, and I kept insisting there was not...

23 months out (maintenance):

B: homemade Greek yogurt, flaxseed, raspberries

S: protein shake, hopefully coffee with half & half

L: if I'm out, probably just a protein bar

D: carnitas with lettuce, tomato, and plain Greek yogurt

probably another Greek yogurt later this evening

Good morning weekenders! I'm just back from the pool and had a lovely swim. I got there early enough to get in and out before the swimming lessons so I had a nice time. It's calling for thunderstorms later, but I plan to go to the lake and walk a couple of circuits before the rain. I haven't been there for a couple weeks and it is so relaxing.

I'm grateful for the long weekend even though we don't have big plans. I just need some down time to relax my mind.

QOTD: I have a variety of early memories, but I do remember moving from the house that we lived in until I was about 20 months. That sounds odd, but I've visited the house since and my memories are correct.

Breakfast: 3 ounces deli turkey

Snack: Apple Ecstasy protein shake

Lunch: TJ's chicken salad

Snack: turkey

Dinner: chicken with broccoli

Exercise: 40 minutes of laps, 4-5 mile walk at the lake

Good Morning!!

Very busy today and tomorrow...

QOTD: I was 3 or 4 years old. I remember waking from anesthesia and puking blood all over my Mom in her whites. She was a nurse on duty and I just had my tonsils out. I again puked blood after discharge and had to go back to the hospital for a few more days.

Menu up in the air, will be protein forward. Thankfully the scale is finally moving--downward!!!

Enjoy!!

Oh, how scary that must've been to a little toddler to puke up blood! Poor baby! They must not have done something right in your tonsillectomy!

Good morning menu friends -

Quick post before I head to bed.

QOTD: My earliest memory is when I was three and my appendix ruptured. I remember being in horrible pain, and remember my dad taking me to the emergency room, for the second time that night. The first doctor that we saw told my parents that I was just constipated and that I needed an enema. That was a huge mistake. I remember the enema and then several hours later my appendix ruptured. This time we saw a different doctor and was correctly diagnosed. I don't remember most of my time in the hospital, but I was there 21 days. I do remember going into the Children's playroom once.

Menu:

B - Protein shake

L- Small salad w/ light tuna pouch

D - Salmon burger

S - 3.6 oz Shrimp, 1 Tbsp. ****tail sauce

S - 1.1 oz. Beef jerky

Calories - 589, Protein - 106, Carbs - 18

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Hi Guys, Not even sure why I am posting because I have no plan...whoops! I know that is wrong, but I don't have any food prepped and need to go to the store. On our way to Trader Joe's soon :) I am going to try to start CAMAW a little early and keep up the 2lbs loss that I am still rocking, post Paris.

QOTD: Y'all are going to laugh. I was 2 years old and I got a new bed to replace my crib. I was taking a nap and too excited to sleep. I was looking all over the bed and the frame was made of a brown metal. I remember thinking to myself "I know this isn't chocolate, but I am going to take it, just in case". Yep. First memory is wishing my bed was made chocolate.
