What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
Good morning Daisy and everyone!
Been busy sorting and pricing stuff for our yard sale. Our town wide sales are June 3rd but not sure we will be ready by that date but there will be a sale this summer, lol! I get stressed about pricing stuff correctly...I probably over think it...I have that tendency, lol.
QOTD: Since I wear glasses all the time, my glasses darken like sunglasses when I go outside.

Nothing Tastes as Good as Healthy Feels!
working remotely today - plus lunch with a friend. Should be fun!!
QOTD: I rarely wear sunglasses, but I do have a cheap pair or two. I have to wear glasses for driving, and that would be the time I'd be most likely to wear sunglasses - and those clip on things seem like they'd be a pain. Maybe if I have money left in my flexible spending account this year, I can get a pair of prescription ones....
23 months (maintenance):
B: homemade Greek yogurt, raspberries, flaxseeds
S: coffee with half & half, protein shake
L: pulled pork, 2 T baked beans, 2 T coleslaw
D: depending on my overall calories, either turkey meatballs or chicken salad
Came back home yesterday for a bit and found out that youngest son lost his job so when he gets his exit interview well be heading down to Georgia to pick up him and his stuff and bring it back to Illinois. He's learned a sad but true life lesson--many people in management are lazy, backstabbing idiots. He goes from a good job review two months ago to terminated because he was seeking other employment and not living up to expectations. I don't know how she'll explain his good job Review? It's a load off his shoulders though because she's been out to get him ever since she was hired there. Now every person who was there when she came has left under duress. Lily and I have our 3.2 miles in and will do another 11/2 after supper. Post op 4 years 9 months and weight at 118.2 today. I wear prescription glasses that darken when I go outdoors so no sunglasses for me. Food for maintenance B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese and guacamole D 31/2 oz meatballs balls 1/2 c green beans S 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices that move you one step closer to your goal!

Really sorry to hear that about your son's job situation. It sounded like such a cool job, too! I am confident that he will find something even better around the corner. And in the meantime, you get to have hm home for a bit!
sorry to hear about your sons job, sounds like while not on his terms, he is getting out of a tough situation, life is too short to be around people like his boss!
Office politics are akin to high-school drama.... I hate it, and if you don't 'fit in' with the right people, you are ostracized... gotta play the corporate game, and pray you win.
I hope he finds something so much better, and quickly!
