Good morning Daisy and menu crew! So glad for holiday Mondays. Happy Victoria Day to my fellow Canadians.

We will be out all day helping to get ready for our church convention so I should be getting lots of steps in today. I finished my first round of the 21 Day Fix yesterday- did not miss one day in 21 days! I love it. This morning, knowing that we won't get home until late tonight, I got up and did my workout so that I knew it was done. We are going over to my in-laws later to set off some backyard fireworks. We've been doing this since our kids were little.

QOTD- we have a gas mower and trimmer. My husband and youngest son love yard work so I don't do it. Our son also cuts for some of the neighbours.

Menu:

B: Protein shake and from there I have no idea but it will be protein.

Have a great day everyone.

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.

Good morning everyone. Another glorious day in the PNW. Today is my 6 month surgery anniversary. What an amazing journey!! So thankful for this board and all the vets cheering me on. I'm looking forward to getting to goal in the next few months.

My husband and I are both off today, so we are headed grocery shopping.

QOTD- I mow once a week. I have a boring push gas powered mower. I love a nice yard.

Menu-

B-3 chicken sausage and 1 poached egg

L-not sure because we will be shopping

D- grilled something. I have been craving steak

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning. Quickie post for me! Weekend was challenging with eating. Big family event on Sunday. And Saturday was one of the busiest days on record for our family. Kids in school--jr high and high school performing groups, etc--end of year banquets, awards ceremonies, parties, etc.--let's call May out as busier than December. #Mayhem

Still striving to eat low-carb. Some slips over the weekend. Using MFP again has been helpful.

Today is my now-13 son's birthday celebration. So that will be a challenge too, and I will allow myself a very small piece of the cake. (Husband is a gourmet cook--the cakes are always kind of an event.)

QOTD: We have an electric lawn mower and have had electric for 20+ years. It works great. It doesn't always provide a burst of power for really long or damp grass, but overall we have been really happy with the electric choice.

Eating plan today:

B: Egg, 2 slices bacon, brocolli

L: Crab Cake

D: Chicken enchilada filling 9to tortilla) with cabbage

S: Options--Shrimp with ****tail sauce, cheddar cheese

Other today: Birthday cake (small)

Drinking: herb tea (Lavender Creme, Orange blossom), Crio Bru with unsweetened soy and some coconut milk as creamer
