Oh my goodness! Crazy busy weekend! I am exhausted, joyful, refreshed, chaotic, energized, and drained all at once. I love travelling with my Guy. I love seeing the people we love from communities we don't get to visits often. But I am getting too old for the late nights, hotel bed, eating out away from home with no freezer treats, and general mayhem that happens.
Accountability First because it is rough... I smoked the whole weekend. The events we went to were almost all in bars where there is indoor smoking. We don't have smoking in bars in Austin so that was rough. One the way there and the way home we stopped at casinos to play penny slots... there is smoking in casinos too. We were arguing and stressed and grouchy as soon as we stopped at the casino over the state line. After that we just pulled over and bought a pack. Today is a new day...start over with the whole maddening craving thing...uhg. I simultaneously loved every darn cigarette I had and hate that I had any.
Also... I cannot even begin to tell you how many pretzels I ate. We had them in the car on the drive and there was zero counting of handfuls going on. It was liberating and yet nerve wracking.
Brightside? Threw away all left over smokes and lost 2 pounds over the three day weekend despite the pretzling. Weight this morning 127.
Best part? Time with Pammie!!! When they had to leave I was super sad. Seeing her for just a few minutes made me miss her even more. Then I realized I forgot a picture and I was so bummed. I know we will get to see them again soon but seriously...they are fast becoming some of my favorite people.
Since I have no pictures with her...here is a very large boot my Guy took a picture of me with to show the scale of how insanely huge is is. It was a Men';s Size 16...it looked big enough to carry a baby in.
Menu: B: Low sugar oatmeal with 1 cup fresh strawberries; L: Frozen bean-less chili; D: Not sure.. thinking grilled chicken breast quesadillas (1/2 cup grilled chicken, 1/3 cup shredded cheese, 2 tbs guacamole; 1/2 cup pico de gallo, 1 small flour tortilla); S: Light & Fit Greek Cherry yogurt; Bacon Cheese Crisps; ES: Dave's Killer bread toasted (1 slice), reduced sugar strawberry jam; Totals: Calories 1158; Protein 105; Carb 109; Fat 30

I haven't smoked in a million years but the urge was stronger in Paris than it's been anywhere. It's hard when the smell and the expectation are everywhere. It was literally the only notch against France.
Glad you and Pammie had fun!
That boot!!! OMG.
Next month! We'll take pictures... I'll make sure! LOL
The biggest bummer around here is that they allow smoking in the bars... I HATE that... I hate that I have to come home and take off my clothes and put them outside, because otherwise my whole closet stinks in the morning... oh, and there is the urge to smoke whenever I'm in a bar... but I have learned to cheat with smoking from time to time, and just get back on the wagon. Of course... my vape. We won't mention that though... sigh.
Glad ya'll had a good time in Tulsa! Much prettier than OKC, but I'm telling you... I AM getting you to OKC, and I AM going to show you good food, and fun places to go... NOTHING like Austin, though... sigh.

Jumping in before I read so I can... FAIL. Looked at the time and it's already afternoon. Ugh! time flies!!!
This past weekend was tough. I was basically camping out in a house that's getting totally rehabbed after flood damage. There was no running water, no heat, no kitchen... I ate a lot of carrots and hummus, and we grilled ahi tuna, onions and red peppers. I packed Greek Yogurt in a cooler and lots of water too. I had my first experience of getting something stuck- I couldn't even sip water for awhile... I think it was the over cooked tuna from the first night (got distracted) but once it moved I was fine. I was super active, my Samsung watch thinks I climbed 70 flights of stairs, but I'm thinking it was just lots of trips up on and off a ladder that did that. Swinging a sledge hammer, using a wrecking bar, hauling sodden chunks of drywall and insulation out to the dumpster... I got in over 10000 steps easy :)
QOTD- Gas push mower. My almost ex-husband is a mower hog, so I let him do his thing on a riding mower for years. Now I'm living with my sister and her family and I'm going to be mowing their little lawn with a gas push mower. As a kid we always mowed our own lawn, and all the older folks lawns on our street. I wasn't a overly kind kid, my parents were just very good at getting us outside and working :)
Eight weeks post RNY/181 lbs/Weight Loss diet
B- Decaf with Premier Protein
