Help, I feel like something is stuck in me

So I had Rny surgery 2 weeks ago. I ate scrambled eggs this morning at like 8 am. I threw up 4 times since. Now I can't even stomach anything to drink. I have been taking sips of gatorade so I don't dehydrate and I feel so full I keep burping up gatorade in my mouth. Is there a way to get rid of this full feeling it's torture. It's been 10 hours since I ate and not even a hour ago I threw up pieces of egg.

I find walking helps. Take a few short walks 5-10 minutes. Hope you feel better soon.

Your very early days out, and scrambled eggs are hard to get in. I'm 7 months post op and still have a hard time eating scrambled eggs. It could just be stuck.

I'm not sure about drinking Gatorade. Is this allowed? I usually have water or tea

The only reason I've been eating scrambled eggs because my doctor told me it was okay starting on Tuesday. The gatorade g2 is allowed . They were the ones that told me to get it. It finally got unstuck after I vomited for the 5th time.

Just because you are cleared to try something, doesn't mean it will go down ok.

Bad reactions are common. The best thing is usually hoing back to liquids only for 24 hours. Stay away from scrambled eggs for at least a couple of weeks before trying them again. I know some folks who can't do eggs for the first 6 months or more.

Baby steps. Small bites, and chew the heck out of everything. And go slow.

I have been very fortunate with eggs not bothering me but poached or fried eggs definitely go down a lot easier than scrambled. Hardboiled eggs are still pretty hard on me as well. I'm almost 7 months out.

Don't know if your doctor approved the G2 or not but Powerade0 has no carbs where as the G2 does.

Sorry you have to go through this! I hope you get better quick!

My doc allows Gatorade, not G2, for hydration therapy after surgery, when low on fluids and feeling dizzy. But not in huge amounts and typically just over the first 1-2 months while getting fluids in is difficult.

This seems odd since G2 is the low calorie version of Gatorade.

Because artificial sweeteners do not give you the therapeutic hydration results that regular Gatorade does. My doc doesn't advocate the consumption of artificially sweetened beverages at all since studies show they cause more weight gain than sugared beverages. Reminder, I'm not drinking a whole bottle of Gatorade so it doesn't mess up my total calories for the day.
