I used to have issues with people touching my feet, now I am fine with it.

Yay on the pump etc on the pool!

Just wanted to say best of luck today on your hysterectomy! I hope all goes well and you are home resting soon. Remember to stay on top of your pain meds, you can't chase pain, one it gets bad its so hard to get it back down to manageable levels and drink you liquids.

Keep us posted on how you are doing!

Good morning everyone!

I continue to find it so interesting how much our bodies can change post op. Beyond the exterior changes, I mean like the food I'm interested in or the way I react to things, and unfortunately for me right now it seems the things I was doing to keep things moving are no longer effective. Time to adjust my adjustments.

QOTD I usually do my toes myself but I might get a pedicure a couple times a year, before a holiday or event. I do get my nails done though, which I've tried going without from time to time but I'm terrible at doing it myself. My BF will come with me when it's pedicure time, actually he will go without me. Judging by looks alone he's one of the last guys you'd expect to go but he loves it!

5+ months post op

B- coffee w/ 1/2 chocolate premier

L- chicken breast, goat cheese and buffalo wing sauce (this is one of the weird new things I like...)

D- depends on him...

S- turkey bite, coffee w/ remaining premier

Have a great day guys!

Christine in the 3.6 yrs since I had surgery there are many foods that I loved and then hated and could not eat again. Cottage cheese is one of them. Ate a ton of that post surgery now I can't even look at it.

I hate to say on the "keeping" things moving, the only thing that works for me is miralax in my morning coffee and 1 tbsp of bran buds in my yogurt. If I don't have those, I don't go! I was eating a lot of bacon and due to the high fat it was keeping me regular but then when my gallbladder decided to try and kill me I had to stop the bacon (high fat) and now its back to miralax and bran buds... such is our life now post op right! Good luck!

The strangest part to me is that I'm not even tasting and deciding no, I'm just thinking about what to eat and something like tuna, which I lived on in the beginning makes me turn my nose up. It's not that I had a bad reaction or it came back up or anything I'm just getting a big old nope message sent up from my stomach.

I've been making the Restotalax a daily thing now. Ribs worked every time in the beginning... I'll keep eating them just in case they start working again. LOL

Hey great question

I've really been trying to reign in my nighttime eating. I did fairly well last night.

QOTD: I'm a jamberry nail wrap rep/addict to I will always have colorful wraps on my fingers and toes. I do not go to the salon for pedi/mani, I'm actually really low maintenance (compared to most) except for the clothes shopping/makeup/perfume/nail wrap collection. lol

15 months yesterday

weight 123.4/ maintenance food (would like to get back to 118 but...foood)

B: coffee/flax milk/chicken gizzard/roast chic/veg

L: leftover sous vide salmon it was sooo good

D: Not sure something different- for some reason I'm getting tired/burned out on leftovers since that is all I eat

hahah- yes, well i don't go to the salon and really have never colored my hair, done tanning, mani/pedi so I do consider that more low maintenance.
