My dog too! Every. Single. Blade.

My dog also really likes worms. If she smells a worm below the ground, she rolls her neck on the spot. If we walk after a rain storm, and there are worms on the ground, even half-dried ones, she rolls her neck on the worm.

So yeah, I get the trouble of running with the dog!

My dog doesn't run with me either. He's a siberian husky so he should want to run. Not so much. If I let him slow down at all he drops to the ground and army crawls on his elbows back to the house. So he does not get invited to run with me.

my two are not allowed to smell until they do their exercise! Its a rule hubby and I have. Exercise first then "fun" smelling time. "Rules, boundaries, limitations" as per Cesar Milan, love that guy!

OMG on the worms, that is incredible! What kind of dog do you have? I HATE worms, they freak me the hell out, I can handle snakes but I go off when I see a worm!

I probably need me a little more Cesar Milan!

Our dog is a Coton de Tulear. Her mom apparently also liked to dig for and eat worms. As I understand it, the breed is thought to be from lap dogs that swam to shore in Madagascar after a shipwreck in the late 1600's, and then these dogs interbred with wild dogs on the island. Eventually, they were adopted as the royal dog of the royal family, and the breed was only available in Europe and America in the last 50 years.

Anyhow, because of that, we call her a forest rat dog (in her genomic interests!). Years of scrubbing the ground for bugs and worms and rats to eat--that kind of thing.

On the ick note about worms. One day after a walk, I realized there was something weird on her neck. It was a partially rehydrated dead worm! About 5 inches long, just tangled in her neck fur.

Qotd- I have a huge issue with people touching my feet, I absolutely hate it!! I have a very good foot care routine though. My feet are generally soft like baby feet. I keep them smooth with a file/scrubber in the shower and I don't like polish on my toes. Every now and again, like 3 years maybe, I'll get a weird idea to paint my toes a bright pretty shade to match an outfit and it takes months to wear off. By then I usually hate it and won't paint them again for a couple of years. LOL My colors tend to be wild, anything goes really. I don't like pastels in general, so the brighter the better.

Today's menu will be ham, eggs, cheese, and maybe yogurt. And

Yesterday I spent the entire day outside working in the yard. The pool now has a new pump motor/strainer basket, new key cover assembly, and a new chlorine feeder! Ahhhhhh! It's so shiny and new!! I can't wait for the pool to be blue again, I miss my beautiful back yard. Friday pics will be from a few seasons ago when the pool area didn't look like a Jumanji nightmare. LOL!

Yesterday was outdoor work, but today the whole inside of the house is getting scrubbed from top to bottom. Well, as much as I can while wrangling a toddler. He does love to get his little hands dirty "helping" me clean. I let him have a few baby wipes and let him clean the floor while I'm sweeping, he's so proud of himself!

I haven't posted much about it, but there's a 10cm fibroid causing all sorts of discomfort and pain in my lower left region. Some days it hurts so much I literally can't stand up. Besides the pain I've had for 6 months, I'm relieved to know it's not just belly fat down there, but I have a legitimate reason for looking 16 weeks pregnant. I'm excited for tomorrow, this pain will finally be gone and after recovery I'm hoping to work on those abs!

Enjoy your day!
