What's on your Menu today (Monday) RNYers?
Morning Daisy!!! Nice to see you starting us up while Julia's off gallivanting around France!
So I had a very mixed weekend, filled with too many stressers and anxiety - FTR I haven't had much anxiety in years, so this alone is bumming me out... but I do have to say that today I'm feeling a bit more settled. I hope it continues that way.
So tomorrow is my 1 year surgiversary... where does the time go?! My lowest weight thus far (prior to this weekend) was 145.2... not QUITE my original goal, and I had already decided that a stretch goal of 135 would be better... so not a failure by any means, but we all know how even .2 lbs can trip us up. I FINALLY got serious last week and started cutting out things like whipped cream on my coffee at night, handfuls of nuts/ beef jerky/ pork rinds/ the occasional handful of something like popcorn, crackers... you get the point. I stayed at the same weight for a while, between 146-147.9...
Well this weekend weigh ins went like this Sat 144.6, Sun 143.8, Mon 144.0
This means I am OFFICIALLY at my original goal... and hopefully I can pull off a number under 145 when I step on the docs scale (fully dressed, damnit they won't let me strip first!). I'm happy... and you know what? Those little bites DO make a difference (Duh)... MOST of the time my eating was pretty clean, you know except for those little things that make people whine WHY AM I NOT LOSING WEIGHT?! I already knew why, so hopefully you can't find too many posts of me pondering why no weight loss (except, I still blame a stall on the HRT I started, which in turn led me down the snack path)....So... 9 more lbs to go...
QOTD: I'm like you, Daisy... an average sneezer... and LOVE to sneeze! It feels good! My hubs and my daughter, on the other hand, are like your mom... they make me jump, the dogs cower, and everyone within ear shot wonders how someone can make that much noise! It's crazy... and Hubs, like your mom, often sneezes in 3's. By the third one, I'm like SHUT UP
Weight this morning... 144.0 tomorrow will be 1 year out. 9 more stretch goal lbs to go!

yahoo on the 144.0!! Wicked awesome!
And I love that you figured it out on your own, you go smart girl!
I'm exhausted today. Due to a bunch of reasons I won't go into, I'm not able to sleep comfortably and the position I'm forced to sleep in is causing skeleto-muscular problems so...Nikki has not been sleeping well. In, like...months. Exhaustion is real, y'all.
Today I swear it's like I can't even string words together correctly (I'm taking this post slow and correcting as I go lol).
No idea what I will eat today and don't really care. Not feeling inclined to eat. Wish I could SLEEP without pain or discomfort. I swear even a little nap would do worlds for me.
Sorry to be a whiner but that's where I am today.

Welcome to Monday! I am super exhausted from an overly busy but wonderful weekend. Tonight I have lots to do still and this coming weekend will be busy again. Yesterday I fell into bed by 2pm and had some no sugar added ice cream... spent the rest of the evening alternating between sweating and shaking, eating a snack to try to recover my blood sugar, and sleeping with Forged in Fire episodes on in the back ground. Other than the RH it was kinda lovely.
Menu: B: Chobani Simply 100 (I am out of homemade yogurt...need to try to make some tomorrow); L: Freezer meaty ricotta bake; D: Not sure yet...out with kids and friends from Alaska...likely TexMex...
Accountability: OH man I wanted to smoke SOOOO badly this weekend. Our guest from Seattle who was visiting was out on the smoking patio most of the time with the other smokers. I wanted to visit with all the people but just could not be around the smoke. My Guy and I stayed inside and away from the smoke and really leaned on each other... made it through without any stumbles. Woot! Weight this morning was 125. RH aside my eating has been good.

Lot on my plate this week... getting life in order before I go to Paris...wish JB and I were overlapping, I said we should photoshop a photo like we were all there together. :) Have my big annual meeting tomorrow night of the Non-profit I chair. Wheeee!!
B: Coffee w/fairlife/coconut MCT oil. - I don't find MCT oil works better than the Miralax, I still need extra help occasionally...but I do feel better about using it daily. I emulsify it in the warm milk with a stick blender- no oil slick. It seems to be good for my hunger, even though they say coconut oil doesn't effect cholesterol, I will be interested to see my next blood work....
eggs, cheese, turkey sausage
L: Grilled Chicken, cesear dressing, cucumber w/TJ everything spice
S: babybel cheese
D: Hamburger, veggie TBD
S: Siggis skyr yogurt, blueberries, protein hot chocolate
Ex: Pilates at home or gym - not sure. :)
