What's on your Sunday Menu RNYers?
Back home today so here I am. Happy Mothers Day to all here who are mom's to 2 or 4 legged children and to those who act as moms in others lives. And prayers sent for those who are missing their moms today too. QOTD I am without doubt an emotional eater. Stress, anger happiness just about any emotion can cause a desire to eat. Most times I distract myself with household chores or pick up a book or go for a walk, but sometimes I talk the emotion out and that helps too. I will always be a work in progress after a lifetime of unhealthy habits. Plans today include church and time spent with my mother in law. Lily and I have our 3.2 miles in already today and will do another short walk after supper. Post op 4 years 8.25 months and weight at 117.6 today. Didn't hydrate enough yesterday so that's the goal for today. Food for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L sausage and shrimp out of a shrimp boil (1 cup) D 31/2 oz brats 1/2 c Santa Fe veggie blend S P3 Pak. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices that move you one step closer to your goal!
Good morning and Happy Mother'a Day!
The scale was down 2 lbs today (Miralax worked lol) so I've officially lost 75 lbs! So excited. I bought a skirt at a store here called Reitman's. It's a size 18 but a smaller make than other stores and I've been trying it on every week. Today it finally fits! I will post a pic later.
QOTD- I internalize my stress and don't really handle it well to be honest but I do find prayer and meditation helps. My husband stresses far worse than I do so I have a tendency to take everything on myself because I'd rather handle it myself than deal with his stress.
Menu:
B: Breakfast Banger Sausage
L: Protein Shake
D: Chinese Food- its not a buffet so I will be ordering protein forward, stir fried, not deep fried and so on.
Exercise- 30 minute walk minimum and 21 Day Fix Pilates.

77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
You are doing great! Have to say I love both outfits....
I love that you do the 21 day fix. Those videos really helped me....now that I am going to the gym and running, I only do the Pilates one, as my 'active recovery' day :)
When my son and DIL were visiting one time my DIL did the videos with me...now they are both very athletic...after we were done, My son comes into the room and asks his wife- How was it? She said- good-hard.... I looked at my son and said- "You thought your Mom was doing a wimp video right?" He was like "yup" LOLOLOL... that is what I like about it it works your whole body over the course of the week, and you can do it at your own speed and intensity...face it there were some exercises I had to modify the modifier...
Also when I went for my PS consults I had 2 Plastic surgeons tell me I had good Abs- which I totally attribute to the 21-day-fix. Dr. Michaels asked me, Do you do Planks? I just said yes...but was thinking --about 5 minutes a week on Pilates Day....hahahaha Keep it up!

I'm loving the fix. I actually signed up to be a coach this week. There are some ladies in my local support group that are interested and a couple of friends from church.
I'm so glad to hear what your doctors said. With my work schedule and commute, 30 minutes is perfect. And doing it every day makes it a habit. And I've walked every day this week too. Even met my step goal this weekend which I never ever do.

I like that the exercises are timed rather than number of reps... that way you do how many you can in one minute... and yes some form of burpees were done off the side of a chair- modifying the modifier...and it still works.
I was a 'roll out of bed and do it' person... I had a pre-workout drink I put in 16oz of water (Power Effects- Netrition [cheaper] or Amazon) which has a boost of caffeine in it - hydrate, caffeine, get it done...

Happy Moms Day everyone.
QOTD "Mindfulness" or meditation is definitely not new-agey BS. The movie that's constantly playing in our minds is not always good and being able to turn off the projector for a while is a skill that actually needs to be practiced.
