RNY on 10/20/16

Has anyone gotten new ink to celebrate/commemorate their RNY surgery? I am thinking of either getting a kangaroo (with boxing gloves) or a Tasmanian Devil.

I am not "ink-minded" so this may sound so very "un-inky" but I would consider putting the words "Gastric Bypass" where a medical-id bracelet would be worn on the wrist. (I have been advised it is important to wear a medical-id bracelet stating so, got one, but I don't like wearing it)

Thanks for the idea. Even before I had my surgery I bought a bracelet on evilBay. It says Bariatric Patient. Gastric Bypass. No Blind Ng Tube and No Nsaids.

OH NO! I would never do anything like that. I thought of the kangaroo or the Tasmanian devil because they both have a pouch just like me.

I want to get a back piece when I reach goal. I want he sword Sting (from the Hobbit/Lord of the Rings) going down my spine. Of course I'll probably have to wait both for budget and to make sure my skin is where it is going to stay.
