I keep pointing out that everything but the bagel is perfectly good when licked out of your palm and saves all the calories of food.

Well, probably not less driving, but certainly a more flexible open schedule that is not dependent on as many meetings with school leaders who have very limited times they can meet. I hope to have a much more 9-5 lifestyle, if possible!

Good Morning Everyone:

I can continue to drink my chai--hooray! I discovered I got lots of gas--got some Gas-X and the pain is gone!

At the end of the day when I re-read this menu string, I realize my meal plan changed because I decided on something else for lunch or dinner. Still protein forward and within my 800 calories but I always chuckle

QOTD: I've got Dance Basanti by Arjun Kanungo from my Bollywood playlist stuck in my head--actually most of the playlist. It makes for great music to work & walk by!

M1: Chai with vanilla protein shake

M2: Applegate turkey breakfast patties and Dannon light & fit greek yogurt

M3: Three jalapeno meatballs with slice of cheddar cheese

I don't know about the rest of the day.

Fluids-yes

Vitamins-yes

Exercise-probably not

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning! I feel like I am on the edge of a marathon long sprint that we will call "The Weekend." I have lots of company visiting and events I am running and food to cook and stuff...it should be super fun but exhausted just making the To Do list.

Last night I got busy and cooked everything we need in the house for the next week. Froze some meaty ricotta bake portions and chili portions for lunches, baked a second pan of ricotta bake for my son to munch on throughout the weekend while I am busy away from home; double batch of spaghetti sauce for whatever pasta we pick which I froze, and portioned out the granola/yogurts for the rest of the week. I knew things were going to be crazy so I had to get things prepped so I didn't go totally bonkers. Will be making breakfast tacos for 30 people Saturday morning and I have not even started to prep for that...but the kiddo will be all set back home and lunches are ready to roll.

QOTD: I keep Pandora playing and today it is "Sting" related station. Police, John Mayer, Coldplay, and Eric Clapton. It is a nice background mix. Relaxing. Currently "Kiss From a Rose" by Seal is playing. I love that song.

Menu: B: 1 cup Greek yogurt with 1/3 cup strawberries and 1/3 cup homemade granola; L: Frozen meaty ricotta bake; D: 4 oz Beef fajita meat, salsa, grilled peppers and onions, 1 flour tortilla (Out and about on the town...no idea where our out of town guest will want to eat but likely Tex Mex. I am going to plan for fajitas and hope for the best); S: Apple; Totals: Cal 1002; Protein 70; Carb 69; Fat 59

Accountability: Weight 125 this morning; No smoking; No night time snacking frenzy

Have a great day!

OK, I had to just hit reply and not read anyone else's song earworms... one is bad enough!

QOTD: Shape of You by Ed Sheeran... I'm a total goofball when I play this song, I know all the words, and I dance around like I'm in my 20's again.... It's often in my head.

Yesterday was good! Clean eating, no whipped cream on my latte's all week (this is my biggest issue, really), and all around clean, clean, clean... Of course, the scale doesn't apparently get the memo. Sick *******

Weight this morning 147.0... whenever I see 147 I panic these days. I really need it to show me 145.something again soon...

B1: 20 ounces of coffee with half and half (which I've reduced my pour time... I need a measuring spoon up here at work)

B2: Frozen leftover - 3.0 ounces of short ribs that I did in the IP a long time ago, a surprise, and oh so yummy!

L: the FINAL 3.5 ounce frozen container of spaghetti squash/chicken alfredo

D: Will be on the go... son has youth group, daughter has band concert, mom has coffee date at 7. There's a leftover burger from last night's dinner with my name on it, probably eaten as a finger food in the car, with possibly a cheese stick.
