Good morning menu folks!

Yesterday was a really rotten day at work. It included covering the front desk in the public information office and it is one of my least favorite parts of my job. By the time I was finished, my stomach was sick and I was totally anxious. I am proud of myself though that I didn't try to soothe with food (I felt too bad to think of it) and I ended up taking a long walk in a beautiful neighborhood. Then after work, I went swimming for a while and that helped to relax me so that I could enjoy the rest of my evening.

I'm also happy that the scales took a leap downward this morning. It has been very fickle over the last two weeks, and it is nice to see the number lower.

Today is supposed to be rainy so no long outdoor walk for me, but I plan to check out the yoga group over the lunch hour anyway. Also tonight is deep water aerobics again, so I'll get my exercise.

QOTD: strangely my head is quiet at the moment...

Breakfast: hard boiled egg, turkey sausage patty

Snack: Ice tea protein shake

Lunch: TJ's lemon grilled chicken

Snack: cottage cheese, unsweetened applesauce

Dinner: pork loin, zoodles

Exercise: short walk this morning, yoga class, deep water aerobics

Glad things are looking good for your job, that can be so stressful! Your trip to Paris will be much better now!

No song running through right now, but when they do it is either Aerosmith or Guns N Roses running around there...lol

So not really a song, but a tv show jingle. Yesterday a co worker randomly started singing the theme song to the old"Love Boat" show from the 70's!! Now I can't get it out of my head. Grr
