I work at a grocery store, anything that goes a day out of date gets sent to the break room, so the break room is always full of donuts, cookies, cake etc! I started taking my breaks outside so the temptation isn't there for me.

Morning JB and menu crew! JB how is the foot today? Hope you got lots of rest! Yay for packing, and pack light and just BUY CLOTHES there if you need something!!!

So sorry to hear that there will no be Co-Director roles. Of course I want you to get it and if your friend is mature and values your friendship and respects you she won't let the friendship deteriorate. Of course she may be hurt and disappointed but I hope if you are the successful she doesn't make this about you two. Sending lots of luck today!

QOTD: My workplace is healthy, I work at a hospital. What I find is the new generation of hires are all very young, fit, good looking and have amazing fashion sense (Male & Female), but the older generation at the hospital, the people who are all retirement age or should have been gone already are big & MO, a lot of them. We do have one young girl on our floor that has a side business, she is an amazing baker, you name it she bakes it, she brings in cake pops, cupcakes & french macaroons all the time. It nearly kills me and I have to stay out of our kitchenette the day she brings them in or I would eat them, sweets are my downfall!!

3.6 years post RNY, eating "plain" to keep my gallbladder happy

B: 2 coffees with vanilla premier protein

L: 1 mango & jalapeno chicken sausage

D: 1 mango & jalapeno chicken sausage

S: half a gala apple with 1 tbsp PB

totals: 740 calories, 73 protein, 24 carbs

V: patches are on

L: 2-4 coffee a day limit, rest of the day is ice water with a splash of diet cranberry juice

E: 3km done (walk up from Union station to work), 7km run when I get home and take the dogs out for 5km run/walk after dinner. Hubby had his first baseball game of the season last night, double header and they won both games (YAY), so after step class I took the dogs out for a brisk walk separately. Amy has a shoulder issue so she can walk fast but not run, Oliver on the other hand is a wicked runner. He usually walks with hubby as their gait is the same but for me Oliver is fast so I started to run and he kept up the whole time, I have a new running buddy!
