Night shifts are over for the rest of the week. Just three day shifts left.
QOTD: The office that I work in isn't too bad with food. Once in a while people will bring treats in for everyone, so far I haven't been tempted by anything.

Hi all- late post as I am in Ohio this week working. yippee! I have a tremendous outfit on, black vera wang pants low cut, a vintage black and blue top, and an off white obi style jacket I found from Trina turk. LOVE IT!!
I'm debating if I want to leave to go get some lunch or just go to the cafe downstairs to eat. If I leave it will be for indian buffet... Not sure I want to leave though since I JUST got here from airport about an hour or so ago.
scale is NOT being my friend and it is causing several internal brain turmoil on the number it is displaying. I will not weigh now until Saturday since I'm out of town, but I was not happy about it yesterday. It's gotta be salt/poop combo, I KNOW I can't gain 5 pounds overnight. SMH weight has been very erratic since starting these 'holistic supplements about 3 weeks ago'. thinking that could be the cause also.
QOTD: generally I work from home 95% of the time so I'm my own worse enemy. Today I'm in the office though and I see a huge box of muffins. they look amazing and I can't go there.

Happy Wednesday! So excited for your trip, JB! I am a notorious overpacker, so I feel your pain. It's t-4 for the Tinker Bell Half Marathon for me. I'm also a notorious worrier, and I'm concerned I did not train sufficiently for this. I exercise all the time, but I don't focus on running, per se. I spin, kickbox, run and do weights. So while I'm conditioned, I don't know that I've put in the miles. I need a sports psychologist, you all to talk me down from the ledge and teach me how to replace the negative self talk. I've been repeating phrases like "you're stronger than you give yourself credit for" "you've got this," etc. in hopes that I can start to believe it. I'm a mess.
JBQOTD: My office is a disaster. There's an attorney who enters pie backing contests, and constantly tries her recipes out on the office. There's a "gumball" machine that dispenses M&Ms, tubs of licorice and people are always bringing treats in. The crazy thing is, for the most part, it doesn't bother me. Right now, there are two containers of cookies that are living in my office. They don't tempt me at all.
My plan:
B: 3.03 oz ground turkey, .6 oz jack cheese, 5 pea pods
L: 4.1 oz chicken breast, broccoli
D: Unsure. I'm supposed to be meeting a friend for dinner, but we never finalized our plans. I didn't take anything out, so if I don't meet her, I'll probably bring chicken in.
S: Skinny latte, 2 oz turkey slices and cheese stick
Good Morning All,
Finished the major project at work yesterday so I am excited. I work at a University and my office represents what not to eat! Lots of treats & junk food all day, every day. Thank goodness I bring my meals & snacks.
No chai this morning--my stomach has been hurting for a few days. Starting to think either gas is trapped or chai doesn't agree with me. I've grown to love my morning chai and would hate not having it anymore. So, I had chamomile tea
M1: Dannon light and fit greek strawberry, 2 applegate turkey patties, 1 thinly sliced cheddar cheese

I hope the work issue turns out better than you expect. The two of you certainly tried to resolve it and it's probably frustrating that it didn't work out the way you'd both hoped.
I'm having an exceptionally frustrating couple of days. While none of it is all that important in the long run but it's really been getting me worked up and I've had a terrible time with head hunger. I've gotten throughly frustrated about two situations that I've actually felt anger and rage over both yesterday and today. You all don't know me, but I'm not a raging angry person at all. (at least I didn't think so until yesterday) I'm realizing that when I've felt this way before I've just stuffed my face before I even knew it, and since I can't right now its coming out as unbridled anger. I'm keeping it under control as much as possible around people, but yesterday I think I even scared myself with the rage I felt.... and we aren't talking about life and death situations here so there's really no need. Anyway, I'm learning how deep these emotions run when I can't medicate with food.... Ugh... It's not even that I want junk food.. I'd be happy to eat too much protein, anything to numb this.. but alas I will not!
QOTD: It's not too healthy. We always have celebrations with cake and other food, we do candy fund raisers, pizza parties, donuts.... not healthy....
