What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Likely a Canadian thing, I'm not 100% on that though. It's a type of breakfast cereal, little squares of wheat, essentially like Chex cereal I guess. On rare occasion, I'll add a tablespoon or two of them or maybe some high fibre bran flakes to some yogurt to put some sort of texture in without breaking the bank carb-wise.

Remember, no matter where you go.......there you are.
It's shredded wheat... carbs.

Good morning gang! No driving today for you JB, yay!!
I had an awesome thing happen yesterday. I was sharing a swim lane with another lady who was in great shape, swam beautifully and of course much faster than me. She got out of the pool about 20 minutes before me and when I got to the locker room she said "Wow, you did great! How do you swim so for so long? I get so worn out!" I was a shocked! I may be a slow swimmer, but apparently I have great endurance. I floated out of the gym on a cloud...
QOTD - I can't remember the last time I read the comics. When I was a kid, my favorite comic was Family Circus. I loved Dolly.

REVISION 4/10/23 - HW 240 SW 225 CW 164 GW 155
Morning everyone!
Busy at work this morning, TRYING... T.R.Y.I.N.G. to stay focused on reading/updating our Safety Manual and it's killing me!!!
I did good yesterday, but what I'm noticing is a lot more anxiety... A LOT more. I DO have a ton of things going on to bring on added stress... company was recently bought out and they are merging us with 2 other fracing companies they already own... we are all worried about our jobs. Hubs job is also in a shaky place in about a year, and he has an upcoming surgery that will put him in Austin for a month during recovery... I'll only be able to be there for a week of that. Add in teenagers, pets, and life... and Wham... Anxiety.... which clearly wants to come out in EATING...
I'm considering therapy... just dread trying to find someone that will understand not only my WLS, overeating/stress eating, but also be VERY LGBT (with an emphasis on the T) understanding, as obviously that's also a must. That was nicely boxed into a great excuse not to try, wasn't it? SMH (We have a great LGBT counselor, but she doesn't do eating disorders too)
BUT, I persevered and had a very clean day, and am really trying to buckle down and have decided to get 10-15 more pounds off before it's too late. I'll brag later once I actually feel over the hump and see the scale cooperate.
