I'm shrinking away to nothing...
My doc said that our obese bodies actually push bones outward, and it takes a while for them to settle back in when we are done losing weight.

People at work think I'm crazy. I eat my homemade chicken or turkey chili everyday for lunch. Sometimes I have a lite babybel cheese round and smoked salmon (lox) instead. These things taste good to me. I also make a shredded chicken with beans, like chili but not as spicy. My key to flavor? Using a tube of concentrated tomato paste either Cento or Trader Joe's in the crockpot. Heating this up in the lunchroom makes the place smell good. I tried some plain roast chicken today for dinner, and yuck. I gave it to my dog.
I'm getting close to goal. I'm shrinking. I know I'll need PS.

Just a note, you are the same height as my husband and he weighs 151 and doesn't look too thin. I think we perceive ourselves either larger or smaller than we really are. I am 5'7" and weigh about the same as you (but am female) and I feel like I look lanky!

My husband is 5'10' and he weighs 160 - 165 so at 5'11" you could easily go to 162-165 and not be sick. In the first year we all look gaunt and "sick" trust me if I had a dollar for the amount of times I was asked by co workers if I was sick I could retire at 46. I weigh the same weight now that I did then (125lbs) when everyone was worried I had a serious illness yet now my body fat has readjusted and I look "normal" again, but I am the same weight.
I also went through a "I hate food" period, I wanted nothing, not even my "fav"s of when I was MO were enticing but you know what I signed up for this. I wanted this surgery, I wanted to save my life and get rid of what was killing me. And now I have the most amazing life. Do you think I enjoy eating tuna every day of my life, no, do you think I enjoy the fact that now I have gallbladder issues that are most likely but not 100% sure due to gastric bypass of course I don't like it but again I signed up for this, I asked for this, I wanted the surgery.
Put your big boy pants on, suck it up, go on to World According to Eggface or Pinterest or Food Network and find recipes that you will enjoy and remember food is fuel for us now, not "fun" like it was before with the appetizers, and huge meals, and wine and drinks and dessert. I think you continue on doing what you are doing. Adding in extra calories can be dangerous, you can try it but remember if you are eating 1000 calories now and go up to 1500 and then in 6 months have stopped your weight loss and put on weight its hard to go back down to 1000 calories. Malabsorption of calories ends, you are getting close if not already there and I suspect your weight loss will stop soon. Good luck, hope you figure it out.

My face definitely readjusted between 1 and 3 years post-op.
1 year post-op
3 years post-op
There's only a difference of about 10lb between the two photos, but my weight definitely re-distributed itself a bit in that 2-year span and my face doesn't look nearly so gaunt.

Absolutely. Pretty much everyone hates their neck by the end of year one. It does get better over the next year or two.
