Pain down the middle of my abs

i'm having pain. Not bad, but definitely noticeable, down the middle of my abs, starting at about my belly button and going up from there several inches. It doesn't correspond with any of my incisions. I'm not sure if I should be concerned. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it something minor? A symptom of a terrible complication? Please give advise!!

sometimes if you're eating what you shouldn't, eating too fast or having liquid within 30 minutes of food you get pain in that area.

I haven't done any of that!!! I'm 3 months out and the worst thing that's happened eating too fast is that terrible stuck feeling. I'm still eating what I should all the time. I want to take good advantage of my honeymoon period. I just want to make sure I'm not ignoring any potentially serious complications... it doesn't seem too bad.... almost like sore muscles just there for no good reason....

It doesn't sound like an emergency but I would definitely mention it at your next appointment if it keeps happening. If it gets worse make an appointment. I complained of pain my whole first year, they told me I ate too much/too fast etc....at my one year appointment I guess they figured "oh, she is still complaining" ....

I ended up having a hernia. The good part was that propelled me to get my plastic surgery. I got it fixed the same time as my lower body lift.

What did your hernia feel like?

It was below my sternum... sometimes sharp not doubled over pain, and sometimes worse when I ate...I guess creating pressure.... I didn't have a bulge or anything...

Thanks for helping me feel better. You know how I was saying it feels like sore muscles? I'm starting to think maybe it IS sore muscles. I couldn't think of anything that might have caused it until I just realized that I have been kinda constipated... that gives my abs a bit of a workout.
