What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?

That just sucks, Stacy... so sorry that you can't seem to catch a break on this health stuff :(
But you are still my hero for all the running and exercise you do. I know you are going to KILL IT at the Tinkerbell 1/2! I can't wait to hear how it goes!
I'm sorry you're going through all of this Stacy!

Stacy, I am so sorry about the unfortunate test results and likelihood of surgery. You can't seem to catch a break! I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Nothing Tastes as Good as Healthy Feels!
Thanks everyone. I'm oddly fine with the results. I just don't want to wait. My appt on the 17th is with my surgeon and I'm going to assume he will defer to my endocrinologist. I see her in June. If she really thinks my numbers are off because of a tumor on the parathyroid, I want a referral to a surgeon sooner rather than later!
JB- Man, I sure hope the heart and foot things get sorted out quickly and you are feeling 100% ASAP.
The weekend was really lovely. Spent several hours walking around the Texas Hill Country and Wildseed Farms looking at shops and crafts, fields of flowers, bird watching (humming birds and various others), and dragonfly watching. It was divine!
As we were walking I suddenly realized it was huge NSV. My Guy and I were walking and I heard him huffing and puffing and saw he was sweating. We were walking for hours in the heat of the day and I was 100% comfortable, no sweat, not tired, my feet didn't hurt, and I felt like I could go for hours more. I NEVER would have been able to do that before. I am so grateful for the health, energy, and freedom I have now.
We also weren't always scouting for a place to smoke, looking for ashtrays, avoiding areas with kids so we didn't smoke on the kiddos, and looking for places to wash my hands (I always hated smelling like smoke even though I was a smoker). Smoke free and healthy weight...feeling great!
QOTD: My Guy wakes me in the morning. I sleep through any alarm on the planet.
Menu: Literally same ole same ole all day...Greek yogurt, apple, frozen left overs, and a cheese stick. Dinner I am not sure yet. It is D&D game night so I will likely pick up some rotisserie chicken to take with me and share.
Accountability: Weight is 126 this morning, smoke free.

But did you go to the Alamo Cafe again? That's what I want to know?
The bats, too... want to see those bats on day!
