What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?

so far I've just put a scoop in my protein shake - I can't taste it. There may be a slight taste, but in this shake, it'd be covered up by the other tastes. Re: coffee - I doubt I can wean myself off half & half, so I may or may not try it - but if so, I'll let you know. I was reading reviews of it this morning, and a lot of people use it as a creamer, so it must be semi-OK. The only complaints I saw were: 1) a few people didn't like the fact that it contains more than just coconut oil and 2) one person said it clumped up too much in his coffee, but then he came back and said maybe the coffee was just too hot. But no one else said that, so I'm guessing it's not a huge problem.

hi all

I didn't see qOTD. I'm glad at least the dr is trying to figure out what is happening with your heart. hopefully it behaves itself. Do you think it is anxiety driven?

Ok so today was my self imposed weigh day. granted i did have a cup of my decaf with miralax before but I weighed 126.4? what the heck!! I'm so irritated and know I do not weigh this. My lowest was 118.8 on march 19 and know I have not gained 3 pounds since tuesday (was 123 then) AND 9 pounds since march 19! I think I might have to go back to weighing everyday so I can see the variation and get a handle on it better as it is ******g me off.

ok here are my pics. first is of 2 red potato that I grew in the garden. Was so excited when I felt them in the potato bag. no i will not eat them but DH will. next is our chicken run and coop- it is almost ready for the hens. and last is part of our garden. that is the radish/lettuce/spinach section.

Food for today- chicken drumsticks/2 leftover turkey meatballs/green/other veggies

calories under 800 (or close to)

Love your photos and your potatoes. How cool...not something most people grow. You have to taste one eventually just to see what a garden fresh potato tastes like....

That has to be the cutest little chicken coop I've ever seen. I wish I could raise chickens but the town doesn't allow them even just hens. Hubby says they would probably have names and end up as pets who lay eggs for me--and he's probably right!

That is an adorable chicken coop! I'd have them as pets that lay eggs too, lol.

The neighbor whose backyard abuts mine keeps chickens and one maniacal rooster which seems to mistake the moonset for the sunrise, and frequently announces that fact to the sleeping neighborhood. The same neighbor once knocked on my door sometime before 7 am to ask if he could go into my backyard to catch one of his hens, which had somehow hopped the (6') fence. I mumbled "sure!" , and went back to bed, and lay there cracking up as I listened to him chasing his squawking chicken. I could hear him slowly walking up to her, casual and wheedling. Then he'd make a dash which she would effortlessly sidestep. She managed to elude him for a good 20 minutes!

Adorable potatoes!

I know so many people say not to weigh too often but honestly it makes me feel way too out of control and miserable when I don't weigh. I think everyone has to personalize what works for them. Perhaps you are a weigh more often type like me.
