Hi, JB; so sorry about your heartrate going up like that. Mine races sometimes too but I don't have a watch that catches it; I should save up. I've worn a heart halter thing before and it never happens when I wear them.

My brother had trouble with his heart racing like crazy and it turned out he had Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome. He had to have surgery to correct it because he had an extra electrical pathway in his heart. I think that's pretty rare though.

Have fun in Paris! Sounds awesome.

Yesterday I rode 12 km on my bike. I did 10 km the day before. Today I'm going to go for a swim as my butt needs a break from the bike saddle, lol.

Thank you! I got the basket at the dollar store, crocheted a cover for it, and attached it with shower ring hooks.

JB sorry that you are having heart-rate issues. I hope they can get that settled down quickly for you.

I don't have a picture to share today but I am thrilled it's Friday. Finding out that my retirement date has really thrown me and need to deal with it and move on but it seems to have taken a toll on my teaching this week. It's felt like a very long week and my head hasn't been in the game for some reason. I'm hoping for a restful weekend so that next week is more productive.

It's pouring here in RI so my planned afternoon walk may turn into a walk at some clothing stores... now that sounds like fun!

This is me at my highest weight with Lucy at her puppy weight. She is recovering from a bad jump off the bed. She is a minpin/rat terrier mix

I'm going out to the Olympic peninsula today. My SIL is cooking a meat fest.
