The first picture made me cry but the second made me smile so it's OK. And you're right she looks exhausted and done in the first picture. You did what you had to do but it still hurts. They leave such a hole in our hearts. It looks like prayers are being answered and Uma and Rebel are getting along. Thanks for sharing both these pics--even if the first made me cry.
I didn't mean to make you cry. The picture actually is soothing to me. It affirms to me, in my heart, that we had no choice.
She had a wonderful 9 years with our family. Her life previous to that was horrible, so I'm glad we were able to let her live most of her life full of love and spoiling!

JB, sorry that you have to deal all of this crap, especially when dr.'s don't listen! I had to wear a heart rate monitor a about 6 yrs ago. It's a PIA but it really helps the doctor figure out whats going on. And now I have 3 stents in one artery.
B: 2 eggs, turkey breakfast sausage, 1/2 slice of cheese
L: 2oz turkey breast, 1oz grilled tofu
S: 2 1/2 oz turkey breast
The rest of the day is up in the air right now but I will be protein.

Good morning and Happy Friday! It will be overcast and cool all day today, but I don't mind. It's been one hell of a week and I look forward to a nice fire and relaxing tonight. Tomorrow is the Kentucky Derby!! We will be placing our bets at a local saloon in the morning then heading home to cook up a Southern BBQ feast and watch the race. I think the pre race show is so fascinating! We really enjoy the whole day.
