Sad for your loss but happy that you were able to give her a wonderful life.

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Just think...salsa is like almost zero calories so if you cover anything in salsa I figure it reduces the calories by osmosis. It is Science!

Thanks, I don't want our deaf boxer to be without a companion, and our 5lb yorkie just can't be what Uma needs... and of course, I'm already attached to the foster (as I always am), so she's the likely choice.

I'm so sorry for your loss; Shelly was beautiful. It's so heartbreaking to lose a furbaby. Your other dogs are adorable too.

So sorry

We have a white boxer too, Tessa. Whites in the past were a rarity but much more prevalent now!!

White boxers have always had a high rate of deafness... the reason there used to be less is because the breeders would do away with them when they were first born because of the deaf issues... it's awful.

I guess now maybe the breeders are being better? I'm not sure, but there have been quite a few white ones come through the rescue lately. Some can hear, some can't. So hard to place the deaf ones since they usually come with separate issues and need A LOT of personal care to help them.
