I'm also from the Northeast so I loved Dunkin Donuts before surgery. But, I drank my coffee way over milked and over sweetened, so I haven't been back since surgery. My only coffee has been decaf with splenda and skim milk or decaf and premier protein (which I drink pretty much daily).

We are in the home stretch at work this week, commencement in T-9 days. It's always harrowing to get through this time of year. I'm mostly waiting for finals to be over so the students will go home! That also means vacation in 15 days! My goal was to be in the 160's for vacation, but I had 2 weeks of stall and thought it wasn't attainable but this morning I'm way down!

15 weeks post op/ 172.2lbs this morning

B: Siggi's w/ PB2 and Babybel

L: P3 Protein Pack (it's about to expire! Need to eat it!)

D: Baked Chicken Breast

S: Premier Protein and Jerky

QOTD: As I sit here and drink my 32oz latte- LOL... 1 cup fairlife milk and lots of coffee with SF Syrup. Breaking out of my Irish Cream routine, and went with Brown Sugar cinnamon. Very tasty too actually. For the Keurig I always go with dark brews. My favorites are the line called Barista Prima- So good, all of them. At Starbucks I like the flat whites, no foam and maybe some SF Syrup. They use a different coffee for the flat whites. It is basically a latte.

My favorite- Hands Down coffee on the road is Sheetz Gas Station Convenience Store- OMG it is sooooo good. A 12oz cup of their house blend took me like 6-7 hours driving across Pennsylvania on the way home from Chicago with one 5 minute bathroom break. It is like rocket fuel. I swore I needed to have the cup tested for what they put in it. If you bring your own cup the refills are only like $.85. I love it so much I just happen to have a photo handy... from this winter in Lancaster PA- there was one outside our hotel. Unfortunately it is regional, and not near me.

Today I am having lunch with my brother...just need to talk over some 'stuff'. He picked the restaurant...I looked it up- Business man lunch attire needed...but they have a burger that has short rib in it. I am so getting that. Reviews say they have these amazing cheesesteak eggrolls...yeah, staying away from that...

B: Coffee Latte w/Fairlife/MCT oil

L: Burger- This is the description from their menu: Our USDA Prime, double-stacked burgers are a custom blend of brisket, short rib and chuck aged for 28 days.

S: I have been struggling with snacks to bring with me.... warm weather certain things cheese/HB eggs don't hold as well. after lunch I have trainer and then have a business meeting that will probably take me to 7PM. Maybe will bring a insulated lunch sack with HB eggs.

D: grilled chicken, cesear dressing, melted provolone (maybe?) green beans or spinach.

S: Protein Hot Chocolate

Back in to my maintenance zone- 167.6 this AM. Lost the 5lbs I gained on the weekend. So yes it was water weight but why oh why do our bodies do that???

Ex: Gym and trainer...

EDIT: So great they are 'creating' a position. You are a valued employee and they want to keep you. Make sure you get a good raise for all that driving you do!!

I love Sheetz!!! When we drive to DC it is always a debate stop at Sheetz or WAWA... Sheetz always wins though!
