What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
I didn't drink coffee the first year but now I am a fiend. I'm always looking for a way to lower the calories. Iced cold brew with milk and splenda is a fave. I have a coffee shop 1/2 block from my house. I've been going there a very long time. I like drive thru starbucks when I'm out and about.
Sounds like the job changes are going well.
I am making crab cakes today. That will be the food highlight.
What time is dinner?
I love good crab cakes!!! Yum!

Good morning everyone!
Lots happening at work and it's made it impossible to get here during the day. I've been putting in really long hours but it's good and I'm learning their ways. I'm on a good schedule for my vitamins but I'm still not drinking enough. I'm drinking a lot but it never seems like enough.
We went out for a mini celebration last night. My BF had misplaced a Keg gift card (Canadian steak place) and when he found it recently we decided to use it when I reached my low weight and yesterday was the day. Unofficially of course because I only record on specific days but any excuse to go out! Lol.
QOTD Coffee is my main source of fluids these days. I never drank anywhere near this much coffee pre op. Recently I've had a bit of trouble with cold water and warm just goes down better so I'm not fighting it. I mainly make it myself but if I'm out I prefer McDonalds.
5 months post op
B- coffee w/ chocolate premier
L- chicken breast
D- pork tenderloin I think....
S- coffees w/ remaining premier, turkey bite
Have a great day guys!

hi all
sorry for the coffee mourning, I feel you on it. Honestly i did give up coffee alltogether hoping it would fix my acid and it didn't. But that was just me.
QOTD: I prefer a place called sublime in atlanta the best (have only had it once), then I prefer Racetrak or QT gas station coffee. They always have fresh decaf brewed and I can add a little regular coffee to the mix plus almond milk, splenda ot stevia and if they have it sugar free syrups or cap. All for $1 so for me it is perfect. OK AND racktrak has these tiny tiny 1/2 oz yogurt cups and you can sample their frozen yogurt when you go in... Otherwise I prefer Krispy Kreme coffee to dunkin or starbucks. And I actually prefer Mcdonalds mccafe coffee over dunkin/starbucks. They have sugar free vanilla syrup there so it all works out. Otherwise, I make my coffee here at the house during the day with an aeropress. I usually buy seattles best decaf, new england decaf, or aldi decaf coffee. I'm not partial to one brand, just any that I can get on sale. Usually when publix has a BOGO sale and I have a coupon.
Good luck on your dr appt.
I have a presentation today so slightly nervous about it but I've already given it 2 other times so I should be a pro at it this time- lol
Food for today:
coffee/prot powder
protein cake/yogurt
hard boiled eggs (need to make some)
leftover crack chicken unless DH eats it for lunch
dinner not sure of but something involving salad because I have TONS of romaine and loose leaf lettuce from the garden. hmmm that reminds me I should go look in the freezer and figure it out.
I'm trying to commit myself to at least 15 min of physical activity a day, whether it be walking, yoga, working outdoors. Yesterday went fine, just very unmotivated to work out.
