Today has been a pretty chill day. Gearing up for my surgery next week (part 2 of breast reconstruction after bilateral mastectomy). I'm kinda stressed because my oldest daughter's prom is 10 days after my surgery so essentially we have to be prom ready within the next 6 days...and we are so NOT prom ready. (And this is the BIG one...senior prom!)

Sigh.

Anyhoo...my eats for today:

  1. A Powercrunch Bar
  2. A pepperoni/cheese stick
  3. The innards of a chicken wrap + a few french fries
  4. I'm making spaghetti so I'll just do the sauce (chili style)
  5. If my kids have not run through the milk, I am going to make me some protein pudding pops because I have been craving sweets but real ice cream (even Halo-style) makes me feel funny and I'm not in the mood for that today.

HI Menu friends! I feel like I have been gone forever!!! I have been so busy at work that I have been only been able to read all the posts very sneakily while sitting in meetings but have not been able to posts. There have been so many great QOTD's lately to! JB what a roller coaster you have been on some day soon I hope the ride ends!

QOTD: Being a New England girl I'm supposed to say Dunkin Donuts but I have to say the coffee shop my daughter works for Bourbon Coffee, I'm biased I know. However, they have the best iced tea I have ever had I know I should have coffee but I try to not drink coffee only on weekends and only decaf since my surgery. They have shop in Cambridge, New York and multiple shops in DC.

My food lately has been all over the place lately. I really have not been going off the rails but eating luncheons at work has been interesting I find that I have been eating like a half a sandwich or more fruit than I should because it was what they provided. So for the past week or so I have been packing my own lunch which has made it easier to stay on plan. I am just glad I did not gain anything but I have not lost as much as I would have liked either.

My food for today:

B: hard boiled egg white and 2 slices of bacon

L: ham and cheese roll up

D: grilled chicken and green beans

S: Chobani flip
