QOTD: I went on some of my own crazy fad diets - I've fasted several times (this was years ago), and in college I once went on a popcorn diet. As in that's pretty much all I ate was popcorn. Egad.

23 months out today. Up 1.5 lbs since the other day (poop? sodium?), but down 2.2 lbs since last month. Whew. (I'm in maintenance, btw)

B: homemade Greek yogurt, flaxseed, strawberries

S: coffee with half & half, strawberry cheesecake protein shake

L: we're having our end-of-the-semester student worker appreciation pizza party today. I'll get two slices and just eat the toppings, plus some salad or raw veggies if there are any.

D: leftover Caribbean pork stir-fry (with zucchini, carrots, red bell pepper, diced tomatoes)

exercise: yoga!

When things got very very bad with my band I basically ended up on a popcorn diet because it was all that would go down. Let me tell you...didn't help me lose anything. Nice idea, though!

If I wasn't lactose intolerant I would have done that too! But popcorn was so comforting because I could actually eat enough to feel full, which I couldn't do with literally anything else.

Raining here in Illinois again but Lily and I did our 3.2 miles anyway. We will try to do another 11/4 after dinner if we catch a dry patch. QOTD the cabbage soup diet. I did it too many times to count. When I was younger I would lose weight but gain it all back, but when I tried it in my late 40s I didn't even lose much weight and gained it back plus some. Post op 4 years 8 months and weight at 117.8. No extra bites taken yesterday so that was good. Here's today's foods for maintenance B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese with guacamole D 31/2 oz blackened salmon burger 1/2 c Tuscan veggie blend S P3 Pak. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices that move you one step closer to your goal!

Good morning all -

Still on vacation so haven't posted much. Getting caught up with family. I have been doing really well food wise.

I hit my half way point this morning, actually 0.4 pounds over half way. My weight is still coming off really slow, but it is coming off.

QOTD: The strangest diet I ever did, and did several times was the egg, banana, hotdog diet. Guaranteed to make you lose 10 pounds in 4 days. I should preface this and say that I did this as a teenager. Day one you eat 3 hard boiled eggs for breakfast, 3 for lunch and 3 for dinner, on day two 3 bananas for each meal, day three you eat 3 hotdogs for each meal ( only the hotdogs). Day four you eat 3 eggs for breakfast, 3 bananas for lunch and three hotdogs for dinner. As we all know now it was mostly if not all water wait.

Menu - Dinner is up in the air today.

Breakfast - Protein shake

Lunch - Shrimp and crab gumbo (no rice)

Snack - sugar free mocha frapachino 8 oz (split it withy dad)

Dinner - ?

I had never had a Starbucks drink before and wanted to try it while on vacation

Have a great hump day everyone.

Edited to add lunch and snack.

Tammy
