Good morning!

I'm on the train, workout is done and breakfast and lunch are packed. Feeling very accomplished.

QOTD: I've tried a lot of diets. I was most successful with portion control and then paleo. The craziest involved taking ice cold showers. It was supposed to burn fat as your body warmed itself up I was 13, saved for the book, went and bought a money order and sent away for it. I don't think it worked lol but I was sure it was going to make me skinny. JB I love the 21 Day Fix. That's the workout program I'm doing right now. So convenient to work out at home especially since we're a 1 vehicle family. I'm on day 3.

The scale was nice this morning- I'm down to 224.2 so 70 lbs officially gone.

Menu:

B: Protein Shake

L: Leftover rotisserie chicken and veggies

D: I think chicken tacos- I won't have the shell though

Ha. I remember on Weigh****chers that they told us to always drin**** water for he same reason. Um, maybe, but not enough to lose 85lbs!

I'm sure the 21 Day Fix is great. I've heard a lot of positive things. I just hate FB being used to sell me stuff. Immediate block if I see a picture of your morning shake, lol.

I agree on that. I think direct selling is great but I don't like the people who are all over my facebook page with their stuff. I have to figure that out and figure out what I want to do as I really do want to get involved in something.

Hey gang, I forgot to mention I got both my boys groomed and clipped yesterday. Took pics of all my babies with their new short summer cuts and will post on Friday.

Also, we have a small section of woods at the edge of our property that belongs to the Catholic cemetery next door. A couple of days ago my husband noticed that a wood duck has decided to build a nest in a group of brush and lay eggs in those woods near the edge of our yard. There are 7 eggs, so we are hoping to see baby ducks at some point this Spring. First time this has ever happened in 10 years. Our only concern is a couple of stray cats (ferrel) that have been hanging in the area for a long time. I pray they stay away from the baby ducks when they are hatched. My husband is so cute, he has been keeping a close eye on the area trying to protect the mom duck.

Morning gang! Still catching up on yesterday's menu thread, but man, I wanted to say how great it is. So much good advice and feedback, supportive and funny posts etc., it is like a little microcosm of everything great about this board!

qotd: I guess it would be the cabbage soup diet, where you could eat as much soup as you wanted, but only certain foods on certain days. I forget all the days, But I think one day was bananas and skim milk?? Weird.

Menu:

B: premier protein shake

L: chicken breast with avocado and lime juice

S: cucumber with cream cheese and everything bagel spice.

S2:skyr with vanilla and bran buds

D: I'm thinking shrimp, but not sure how yet, or what veg I have. Maybe turnip fries.

Morning! Can you belly Eve it's going to RAIN more today? We already have flood warnings out. I was hoping to get some gardening in first but it's already thundering.

QOTD- oh, the diets. I was up for any diet. I remember one I found in a magazine called The Fast Food Diet. Basically at least one of your meals each day was from some sort of fast food chain. That was fun! Lol. And of course, there's everyone's favorite dysfunctional diet, the cabbage soup diet. I'm sure I can't be the only one who did that? I did it a few times. Basically you make yourself this big pot of cabbage soup to eat on. And in addition to that, each day you can eat one other group of foods. Like one day was fruit day. Another was milk and banana day. Another was steak and tomato day.

Ok, food today, 8 months out. Shakes today.

B, L, and Snack- trying this green monkey shake recipe. It's got spinach in it. Probably going to be awful and I will end up just having a plain shake, lol.

Dinner- beef stew

The fast food diet?? Are you sure you didn't just eat fast food every day and tell people it was a thing?!?!? Hahaha. Almost as good as the twinkie diet...
