What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Beautiful day here in Illinois with sun even. Lily and I have our 5k in already and will do another mile and a half after supper. She pouted yesterday evening because I had to skip the walk to do laundry. We'Lloyd be sure to get one today. QOTD I've managed to avoid the yummy potato buns sitting on the counter and the piece of blackberry cobbler calling my name in the frig. Post op 4 years 8 months and weight at 118 this am. Poop issues and lack of fluids yesterday probably responsible as I stayed totally on track with no extra bites. Goal today is no extra snacks and at least 100 ounces of fluids. Here's the eats B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese and 100 cal container of guacamole D 31/2 oz strip steak 1/2 c Santa Fe veggie blend S sweet Italian chicken sausage with mustard or P3 Pak. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices that move you one step closer to your goal!

It's a good thing you don't live closer, because now the blackberry cobbler in your fridge is calling my name, too!
ACK!!! Morning was awful, and just getting to work and settled in (coffee made, emails checked)... so I don't have much time at all!
Thanks for all of the condolences about our dog - and the welcome backs! I made it a point to get on here so I could at least post on the menu thread. Hopefully I can get back later to read everyone's posts. I did pretty great yesterday not stress eating - not even a protein bar. I feel good about that! I ended up eating a rib and 1.5 ounces of manwich meat with 2T of cottage cheese and a few bites of salad for dinner last night... a strange combination, but good!
QOTD: Last night we had friends over for an impromptu dinner, and one of the things brought, and stuck RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TABLE, was a big bag of potato chips... next to them I put out a bag of pork rinds (I had 2)... and I DIDN'T HAVE ONE potato chip!
Weight this morning 145.8
B: sipping coffee #1 now... another to come hopefully before I eat real food
B2: I ran out of the house with nothing. I do have freezer surprises in there, so maybe spaghetti squash chicken alfredo, or meatballs in marinara
L: Whichever one I don't eat for breakfast
D: Nothing taken out... But we have ham in there, so I think I'll do ham and cheese rollups and cottage cheese (I've been craving my cottage cheese lately)
S: Please let those potato chips be gone before I get home... please? (Planning on my Fairlife milk decaf latte with SF Mocha syrup)

The month of April was one huge temptation for me. Both kid's birthdays which meant cake, ice cream, pizza and other snack foods. Yesterday, I went out to lunch at a burger place for work and I love their tater tots. LOVE. I of course did not order them. Thankfully neither did anyone else! I think I've made it easier on myself by just saying that I will not eat those things in any capacity until I'm in maintenance. It gives me an easy out. I don't know how many times I've had a conversation with co-workers like this:
Co-worker: Erin, can you eat insert yummy food here.
Me: Can? Yes. Will? No. Not until goal!
I did try 1/4 cup of Halo Top ice cream the other day, and that was yummy! I actually debated hard if I wanted to try the Halo Top or eat my cheese though, because my calories said it was one or the other
