Morning folks! WTG on staying on top of the eating- Yipee on the loss!!
QOTD: Last food temptation I was strong enough to turn down was on Sunday at the mall. I'd went in determined to buy an Aunt Anne's Brown Sugar/Cinnamon pretzel. Oh, the sweet, yeasty, sugary warmth was just calling me. But by son ordered Chinese a the food court- so I got a side of plantains and decided to forgo the pretzel. Damn I love those things.

I honestly get mad at Aunti Anne's!!! That smell just makes me crave that yumminess so badly! Thankfully I've not succumbed to the beast, and I rarely go to the mall anyway so that helps!
Oh, and the people in my kitchen this morning that keep toasting the bagels some mean person brought in today... oh damnit they smell good!!!
And now I'm singing that song.... Oooh oh that smell... can't you smell that smell... The smell of bread that surrounds youuuuuuuu!!

I think the highlight of the day may be some eggs. Or I should say 1 egg with some whites. Scrambled. Omelettes have been bad luck.
I bought some Mexican sour cream (the best!) which I'll have in my black bean soup.
My GI tract loves Greek yogurt almost as much as my taste buds do so that'll be on the menu for sure. I bought some SF maple syrup that isn't half bad that I use to sweeten it up a bit. It doesn't taste like the real stuff, more like Aunt Jemima or Mrs Butterworth but I grew up on the fake stuff so I kinda like it.
QOTD
We always have some bars of Ecuadorian dark chocolate in the freezer or fridge. Good stuff. Anyway when I opened the fridge last night a bar fell out of one of the door compartments at my feet. My wife can do things like eat a single square of chocolate or a single cookie and be satisfied. Crazy right? Anyway the chocolate went back in the fridge and I had a rice cracker with salsa.
