Reflux?
I think it can have different sensations, but usually, burning. Mine, on the other hand, is a gassy, burpy feeling that sometimes feels like my stomach is full of sour liquid (one nickname for it is "sour stomach" - that pretty much describes what I feel). I sometimes get the burning, but not always. But yes - for most people, it's a burning sensation.
Thanks everyone for your replies. This is not a severe situation at this point, more bothersome. I'll bring it up with my PCP at my regular appointment next week and if I continue to have issues, with my surgeon in June.

I have acid reflux that started a few years ago. It got so bad I thought I was having a heart attack and went to the ED. That's when I was diagnosed with severe indigestion and acid reflux. It's much better than it used to be but I have noticed that longer I get from surgery it's getting a bit worse. I may need to start taking my Nexium 2 times a day instead of once a day. The symptoms vary from acid in my throat to nausea and sometimes chest pain. It's definitely worth talking to your doctor about.
Good luck with everything!

I absolutely get nausea/hunger from acid. My burning feeling is usually at the top of my esophagus. I can have raging acid that I am just dying over, or right now...this kind of annoying acid, mild burning, but lots of nausea.
