What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Wow on the job! Good Luck making a decision....You could totally be a director though, don't hold back if you want it... Although you did talk about finding a job with less of a commute...maybe this is an open door to start looking.
I had a great weekend at my nephew's wedding. It was Friday night, and then spent Saturday hanging with Family at the beach and at the house my brother rented... It was gorgeous almost 90 degrees...the pool was open and heated at the house...we went swimming etc. There were at least 20 of us there...all family, didn't count exactly. Even though my family has seen me thin now, I think they were shocked to see me in a bathing suit. Bathing suits don't hide anything. I had a black one piece on, nothing special... I think they didn't know what to say, so they all kept telling me what a nice suit it was...LOL.
On the flip side it was carbfest weekend... when I finally tried to reign it in I grazed on protein- shrimp ****tail and grilled chicken just to keep my hand out of the chips and salsa... and those damn French Twist things -cinnamon sugar- and the package says "only 35 calories each" the siren song of the MO, or formerly....not when you have at least 10 of them snatching one everytime you walk by. I was up 5lbs in 2 days....this is why I weigh everyday unless away...so much can happen...not cured...can't put my head in the sand. Down 2 1/2 today...so yes swelling and water weight gain, not all fat....but still- gotta keep it in line.
QOTD: I am going to say a general Mediterranean- Greek, Lebanese in there. Schwarma, hummus, pita, gyros, feta.... anything in that, I am not picky...love Indian, Love Mexican as well... Italian not as much anymore, because thank goodness I no longer have a desire for pasta. Who would have thought?? I was fat, I am not picky...I love all food. except maybe sushi. I will eat it, but not a fan.
I have to have a conversation with someone this morning I am dreading. I think they majorly misinterpreted something I said and I need to sort it out....ugh
EDIT: Conversation went well. Whew!

Good morning menu folks. We're back home now and our rain has stopped for now so Lily and I were able to get 11/2 mile done last night and our regular 5k done this morning. Good morning JB and crew! Happy Monday...
JB it sounds like your life needed some room for a new thing. That Director job sounds good but you could also work on a farm. With goats and donkeys. Just saying. May even be some room for Grim. Well, maybe.
Love the taco meme.
QOTD: I love chinese food. And not real chinese, but that american kind. That you find in buffets. Have not had it in forever, and definitely not since WLS. Close second is Indian food, the real kind.
B: 1 c Fairlife with coffee and Miralax, Dannon greek yogurt
L: 1/2 can Tuna salad with light mayo and pickle relish
D: 4 oz chicken skewers, 4 tb Thai peanut sauce, salad
S: diet cran something with water, 6 beef jerky coins, Syntrax fuzzy navel
Totals: 705 calories 105 protein, 31 carbs, 16 fat
OMG look at those protein numbers. It is getting much easier to eat meat. That might be a scary thought.

As I was posting my job woes this morning, I thought, "Cheryl is going to tell me to quit and move to a farm". Nailed it.
