In the midst of chaos there is also opportunity - Sun Tzu

I hope you're not going to be counting carbs in Paris. Quelle horreur!

didnt get to that salmon yesterday so it's a definite today. 1 day less fresh. I already got up and made some poke and pan fried the last piece. I'll probably smother it with tzatziki. I also defrosted some of my black bean soup that I'll have with sour cream. Maybe a yogurt/berry smoothie. Protein shake obviously.

QOTD:

Mexican is definitely up there. Next up in Latin America might be Salvadoran. My wife would kill me if I didn't mention Ecuadorian ceviche . I love Indian. Malaysian and Vietnamese are probably my top Asian. And Japanese of course. I love going to French restaurants. Obviously there's Italian. Greek seafood is amazing. I've eaten Palestinian street food a couple hundred times. I don't know is there a character limit for these posts?

Morning JB! I sorry to hear about your job. Though you seem to really enjoy it- it does seem like it's a lot- between type and volume of work and your commutes. I'm hoping that the shake up will improve some aspect of that for you. Today my hubby starts a new position (same title, different department/scope of work). I'm happy for him- he needed the change. I'm in mental health first aid training today.

Qotd: easy... Jamaican! The food of my people. Behind that Hispanic food would be my close second.

Ackee patties are some of my most favorite food in the world! It is worth a trip back to Jamaica just for the chance to eat ackee.

One of my favorite student's mothers used to bring me Jamaican meat patties on the regular, and they were the most delicious food, ever... Mmmm. I am having meat patty flashbacks!
