Good very late afternoon!! The garage sale went well and we made some money for my parents. Ugh. Anyway its OVER!!!! I have my weekends back and I am looking forward to being more active, having fun and relaxing again! Right now, I have a mess of chicken wings marinating - half lemon garlic marinade, half dry BBQ rub. I may throw some other meat on there as well. We always have plenty of meat. I love BBQ anything, yum!
QOTD - I am most grateful for my new found energy and my new ability to go farther, longer and harder than ever without getting tired! Oh, I also LOVE that I'm not hot all the time. I had the most enjoyable hike in the heat the other day. Usually I would have been miserable and soaking wet. This is a big game changer for me!

Hi Amy,
I would kill for some Halibut! It's not easy to find here in CT. If you do find it Fresh you pay like $18 to $20 per lb. That's out of my reach but I do love the stuff. Although, now that I think of it as I am writing this to you, I don't need to buy a pound of it anymore! Now it's within reach if I can find it! Yaay! :)

You are definitely blessed! I am very fortunate to be living on the New England Coast with the best Clams, Cold Water Lobsters and Scallops and Oysters but when you want Halibut it doesn't cut it LOL! However, like you said if and when I find it, a small piece of it is mine now!

I grew up in Mass and I will say, I miss the lobster! It's not the same here at all, not even close!

I forgot to answer the QOTD: Wow, there's many things I am very thankful for. I am able to move around so much easier. I am no longer taking any diabetic medications(I call myself a recovering insulin addict. LOL!). Many of my other medications have either been reduced or I don't take at all anymore. My sleep apnea has improved dramatically. I have a very long way to go and can't wait to experience all of the other NSV's headed my way.
I have been in a stall for a couple of weeks so hopefully that scale will start moving again soon! I have also developed gout but that's ok. It been very interesting and educational learning on how to limit the trigger foods that make it flare up and still get as much protein as I can as well as taking in the least amount of carbs in a day as possible. It's all good and part of my journey.
Take care everyone, I hope you enjoyed your day!
