What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning and happy Friday! I'm very happy its Friday! It looks like it's going to be a pretty calm weekend. I have an 8-10 mile run at the beach tomorrow then I'm getting my hair done. We've decided I'm going with straight hair for the spring/summer so that should be fun. Sunday I have to stay pretty close to the house. I have to do my 24-hour urine collection and don't feel like traveling with my collection jug and a cooler I agree with everything JB has said. This site has been a godsend to me. You all have carried me through some pretty lousy times and I appreciate you all, more than I can express.
JBQOTD - By far, the 2010s. Aside from the fact my father passed in 2010, this decade has been full of changes and self discovery. While some of it was painful, all of it was necessary and I'm a better person for it. Although, the 1980's were pretty awesome too!
My plan:
B: 3.8 oz citrus marinated chicken breast
S: Skinny latte
L: ??? It's my cousin's birthday and we're going out to lunch, so absolutely no idea. It will be protein forward, but still no clue
S: Light and fit, HB egg
D: another ???? I'm thinking chicken or steak kabobs with a greek salad. As I sit here, it sounds good.
Exercise: Rest day. I took a HIIT class yesterday (I've been to it before, but it's been a few weeks) and today I can't lift my arms. Hurts so good!
I'm glad you've stuck around Stacy. It's been great having you here, and you've helped a lot of people.

Oh and I was going to use a picture of me from the luncheon on Wednesday, but I never got around to taking one. I went in the bathroom to grab my full length selfie and one of our file clerks was in there, crazy drunk and crying. I abandoned my photography plan for the day and went into rescue mode. While I didn't get my photo, I did manage to delay her driving by a good 2.5 hours. I'll just have to wear the dress again so I can get a picture . . . on a day with no alcohol . . .

Took a walk down to the river at lunch today. Was hoping to post some manatee pics but it is much too windy today! But here is a pic of the Indian River.
Day 9 of the pre-surgery liquid diet. Surprised that I am not too hungry at all anymore. Had to force myself to drink number 3 protein shake last night. Think I need to up the liquids so I am working on that today.
I have had a good life - but I think the most fun was living in the dorms in my college years -mid 70's.
Hi Everyone,
I loved seeing all of your photos; such fun, and such inspiration, too.
QOTD: The 80's were my favorite decade too. I loved the music, the dancing, the big hair, the leg warmers; everything. Personally, it was fun because I was in highschool, Uni, and started my first teaching job. Lots of excitement and fun, and I wasn't overweight until the end of the decade, lol.
I had surgery on Feb. 1st, 2017, and life has been great ever since, even with health issues and setbacks. I'm down almost 74 Lbs, and am walking, riding my bike, and swimming laps. I just started swimming again last week, and did laps for an hour, 3 times last week, and twice this week. I'm going again today, even though I was really sore from swimming last night.
I was able to get rid of almost all of my pants and yesterday fit into a pair of jeans that I've been holding on to for over 12 years, lol. I met with my dietician for my 3 month post op visit yesterday and was told I've already lost 45% of my excess weight, and she didn't expect to see that until my 6 month post op visit, so I was really pleased with that.
Breakfast: 1 slice Weigh****chers whole grain bread with 1 tbsp organic peanut butter, tea with protein shake as whitener.
Lunch: Tuna with a pickle
Supper: Steak and green beans
Snack: Strawberries.
I take Celebrate Multi complete 36 vitamins, twice a day, and calcium, twice a day. Still waiting for my 3 month blood work because the requisition form didn't go through so they had to send it again.
Here's a before and during photo of me, taken this past Christmas, and last week (April, 2017), just before my 3 months post op.
