Thursday! I have my second follow up with my surgeon today. 7weeks 2days post op and according to my scale I've lost 44lbs. I am excited to see what her scale says. It feels more definitive on the surgeon's scale. Also I'm hoping she'll let me start salads and some other less tender foods.
B: my usual protein shake plus extras
L: fuzzy navel protein shake since I'll be traveling (my surgeon is 2hrs away)
S: protein shake? Maybe a baby bell cheese?
D: depends on what DH makes and if I can have salad or not, lol
Just make sure if you can have a salad that you get your protein amount before you fill up on lettuce. I still have to watch myself because I love the crunch of the lettuce so much I forget to eat the protein toppings. AL so go easy on dressing too. I hate when I get a salad out and it's pretty dressed and swimming in far too much dressing. I try to ask for dressing on the side and most places are happy to do that.

Good morning! Such a bummer to hurt yourself while running. I have no advice other than to take it easy. I'm glad that the meds seem to be helping!

L: Jalapeño/cheese chicken sausage and baby carrots
S: latte, Homemade 2% Greek yogurt with fiber cereal and SF jam, Buddig turkey pack and 2 Brazil nuts
D: Flat out bread pizza and SF jello with cool-whip
