after that initial drop the first month, I lost 10-12 lbs a month for the first six or seven months. So your weight loss in month two isn't unusual...

Morning Menu Crew!

JB that really sucks about your Achilles tendon. Hopefully you will get some good advice here but I thin**** and staying off it as much as possible is probably what's needed.

I'm off today- I have an appointment with my clinic dietician today. Not really looking forward to that as I'm sure she will tell me I'm not eating enough carbs. My pcp also wants to see me about my labs. I'm sure he probably wants to talk about the higher cholesterol. I am going to get a copy of the pre-op labs as well when I see him. Then I have to do my son's income tax- our deadline in Canada is April 30th and I have to brush up my resume.

B: 1/2 an avocado and a hard boiled egg with Everything But The Bagel seasoning - I love that stuff!!

L: Protein Shake

D: Maybe pork chops on the grill if my husband gets it cleaned out.

Have a great day everyone!

If you aren't near a Trader Joe's...I used to use a similar one that I found on Amazon, just called "bagel spice". When I was post op and so bored with sweet shakes, I used to add it to cottage cheese to get some yummy savory flavor.

Good morning JB and the menu folks! We've got a warm one here. I'm going to try to get my outside walk in early to beat the heat.

I had an appointment with my pulmonologist yesterday. He is the one who made the final suggestion that I consider WLS. I also had one of my pre-op consults with him for my asthma and sleep study. He was absolutely tickled at how I'm doing and very encouraging. In fact he said that I was the healthiest patient that he'd had all day. Nice of him to say. He's also talking evaluating me for ending my cpap in a few months. All good news!

JB, I'm glad that you're feeling better.

QOTD: I don'****ch much television, but I think that I'd like to have tea with Miss Marple (Jane ?). I like her character in print better than on screen, but she's the first person that I can think of.

Breakfast: spinach feta egg muffin, turkey sausage patty

Snack: ice tea protein shake

Lunch: salmon, baby carrots

Snack: cottage cheese, unsweetened applesauce

Dinner: shrimp and zoodles

Exercise: long walk outside, deep water aerobics

Good Morning JB and Menu Family,

Julia - I'm glad your acid symptoms are better, but I'm sorry you injured your achilles tendon. I hope it gets better really soon.

QOTD: My daughter and I like to watch The Middle and Modern Family, but I'm not sure which character I would choose to meet. I also like to watch Wheel of Fortune and think it would be fun to be on the show and meet Vanna White and Pat Sajak, but if I ever really was on Wheel of Fortune I would probably be so nervous I couldn't speak and would make a total fool of myself!

B: Prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

L: lettuce, chicken, cheese, low cal dressing

D: taco meat, cheese, 1/2 flour tortilla

S: light n fit Greek yogurt

Exercise: Walking Blossom around the subdivision

Have a great day everyone!

Morning! Busy day today. Homeschool co op, and I have tickets this afternoon to take the kids to see a children's performance called "The Moon Is a Balloon". Trying to get a grocery order in before we leave.

QOTD- Dr. Who, duh!

Breakfast- the last of the spaghetti squash pizza casserole. I didn't have it last night, unexpected burger instead.

Lunch- picking up Raising Cains per my kids request. I am not very familiar with their menu, so, some kinda chicken?

Snack- lunch meat/cheese/pickle roll up

dinner- out of my prepped meals. Making this veggie-meat sauce over pasta thing for the kids, I will have the veggies and meat.

Snack- I dunno. I have this protein "fudge" stuff I made that I stored in the freezer. It's not great, but I need to eat it or toss it.
