Just reading this now. It is always hard when we lose a parent, but I also understand the relief from stress and not seeing them suffer.
Put coins in those pockets...LOL. Why didn't your PCP want you at a 23 BMI? That is very respectable... drink water right before you go in :)

I told her when I was there in January for my annual physical that I wanted to lose another 10-20 lbs. I think my BMI was around 24 then. She told me it was fine to lose a little more, but not to drop below a 23 BMI. She said she doesn't like to see older adults getting too thin because they're just not as healthy. So anyway, I'm now below that - although not too far below it, so I may be there with clothes on and a couple of meals under my belt. But if not, she may not care if I'm only a little below it....
