I have "the sad's." It's a hormone thing, I think. I just wi****'d go away but as of right now I just want to cry for no damn reason. GAH!
Eats:
- Breakfast sandwich (English muffin, egg, sausage)
- We have a weekly lunch potluck group so whatever they serve.
- A protein shake
- This concoction I make out of spinach, cherry tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, garlic, Cajun spice and grilled chicken breast
- May make myself some protein pudding pops
I'm definitely going to get to the gym today. Usually physical activity helps with the sad's.
RNY Gastric Bypass 1-8-08 350/327/200 (HW/SW/CW). I spend most of my time playing with my food over at Bariatric Foodie - check me out!

Good morning!! Glad to hear you are back on track JB, it's such a great feeling. I have really appreciated the sunny weather we have been having and the longer days. It seems I am squeezing in more and more to my daily routine and I am actually enjoying it. I would never have been able to do so much before surgery. I can go longer and harder than I ever remember and accomplish so much more without being tired. I'm so grateful for this surgery, it's the best gift I have ever given myself.
QOTD - I haven't flown in years, but I love it. A window seat is a must! The bathrooms are super tiny and anxiety inducing. JB - I hope you can hold it for your international flight, but if not there are always Depends!!
I have dropped 5 pounds in less than a week! Last Friday I was 228 and today I am 223! only 24 more to onederland and my new Apple watch!!!

Good morning,
QOTD I love to fly but its been a long time since I flew, over 20 years. Too expensive.
B spinach, yellow pepper, ham and cheese omelet and string cheese
L going to Red Robin to use my free birthday hamburger, even though my birthday isn't till Saturday
D spaghetti meat sauce and trying zoodles for the first time.
S Greek yogurt, turkey sausage snack sticks and cutie orange
Have a great day
Morning! Long night here...sigh. Lots of loud storms during the night, and we lost power for a while too. Three out of my four littles were up at various times. But hey, the power came on in time to make coffee, so there's that crisis averted.
QOTD- I do like to fly. I haven't done it in ages. I think the last time was when my oldest son was three? He is 12 now, lol. When you have five kids, it is much much cheaper to drive anywhere.
Menu today, 7 months post op...
Shakes today for breakfast, lunch, and snack. Peaches and cream.
Dinner- the last of that spaghetti squash pizza casserole.

Happy Hump Day! Also, happy Administrative Staff Appreciation Day! I went to Starbucks this morning to get my staff coffee as a means of showing that I appreciate them and also picked up some of those egg bite things. As I type this I am eating one and haven't decided how I feel about it yet.
I don't mind flying but I get motion sickness sometimes when I fly which I don't like. I also have never, and so much as I can help it, will never use one of those restrooms. They creep me out and also make me feel claustrophobic.
B: Egg Bite thing from Starbucks
L: Other Egg Bite thing if this first one settles well
S: Chocolate Unjury, Kale, Fairlife, PB2 smoothy
D: Pink Grapefruit protein shake

I love those egg bite things as much as anything else I've eaten out recently!
They are ok. It's interesting because I was really excited to try them and found, like most foods I've had post op, that they were just ok. Food doesn't seem to provide the same pleasure/ satisfaction as it used to pre-op. I am very thankful for that because I definitely used food as comfort which contributed to my obesity. But it definitely is a reality check and reminder that I still have the metal/emotional work to do surrounding food.
