What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning folks! It appears that the rain is finally over and now it is warming up. It's supposed to be in the 90s by Saturday!
We went to water aerobics last night and had alot of fun. I had forgotten that I felt pretty uncoordinated at first, but my goal was just to keep moving in the water and have fun. And it definitely was FUN! Can't wait until Thursday.
QOTD: I like going places that I have to fly, but always having been overweight, airplanes and buses are difficult. That's part of the reason that I like going on the train. The seats and the bathrooms are larger!
Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs
Snack: ice tea protein shake
Lunch: Chicken Tikka Masala with riced cauliflower
Snack: cottage cheese with unsweetened applesauce
Dinner: cod with tomatoes and zoodles
Exercise: short walk in the morning; longer walk at lunchtime

Last minute change because if all the rain and I decided to drive instead of train so that cuts the day down :) 7-7 with commute time. Yay!
Hi all
QOTD: Yes, in general I like to fly. Yes i've been on flights to japan and singapore and india where going to the bathroom had to be done. They keep it really clean in there. I bought my own spray to make my experience better overall. Takes out any prior scents. Like pottying while camping I guess.
Went to therapy session yesterday. We determined that I was 1) reducing to 1 scale and putting the scale in a safe zone ( I had 2 in the kitchen and I weighed every day) and only weighing 2 times a week. And that if I see that number over 125 then I need to reign it back in. I still would like to see 116 once in my life but not sure I need to be stuck on a number. I'm instead going to focus on my overall fitness and work on reining in my sweet evening snacking issue.
Made chicken crack last night as well as chicken gizzards crack lol.
Food:
B:tilapia fish stew/ decaf/miralax
L: chicken gizzard crack
s: not sure
D: not sure depends what DH wants
Those sound like healthy changes. I think that this is a real balancing act to keep the eating in check but also not to become so obsessed that it causes anxiety either. Way to go!
Good morning JB & Fam!
JB: OOH Paris! You can SOO do the 5 lbs in 2.5 weeks!
Tonight is another gourmet "I Think I'm a Chef" night. I'm going to try the Tastmade 40 clove Garlic chicken recipe. I'm looking for new ways to make protein new and exciting. I'll let you know how it goes, and if its photo worthy, it'll probably end up in my Photo Friday this week.
QOTD: I do like to fly. I can't say I enjoy turbulence, esp if I'm away from my seat or in the restroom, but I don't mind flying.Take offs and landings also make me slightly anxious, but everything in between is fine with me. I have flown to asia (longest flight was 20 hours), so I've had no choice but to use the bathroom, hehe.
Todays Plan:
B: Homemade Sausage Egg Bites (1 serving)
S: Premiere Protien Chocolate
L: Beef Caldereta Steew
S: 1 oz Beef Jerky & 1/2 serving Egg bite

Stat: Cal 985, Carb 54, Fat 41, Protein 85
Vitamins & water: about to start
Exercise: 45 min walk at lunch if its not raining

There's a Special K variety with 10g of protein and only 7g of sugar that has really been a big help. Yesterday I tried to eat a Lean Cuisine Chicken Parm patty but it didn't really work out. I definitely need to eat some eggs today as I need some "real" protein. And maybe some chicken meatballs with tzatziki.
QOTD: Love flying and even airports. I'm going to Mexico in abt 5 weeks and I'm looking forward to pulling that seatbelt strap! My BMI probably never went above 41-42 so luckily I never needed an extender but I do notice that newer planes have longer seatbelts. That's America. I always make sure to hit the bathroom and usually more than once. I go even if I don't really "have to go". I need to roam!
